jerk bait/spook and square bill rod
The Witch Doctor Surman 50g would work. I use mine mostly for spinnerbaits , bigger squarebills like the 2.5 and BDS and Spooks but It's fine with stickbaits like the 110 and Mcstick. Also makes a nice wart/ rock crawler/ curve55 rod. It's got enough zip to work the bait and moderate enough for the small treble hooks. 90 % of the time they get it on the pause anyway.

Lowest memory Flouro
I do the same as Blue as When it comes to Tatsu. Also I turn it around maybe once a year the stuff lasts really well. All lines save for braid will have some memory but Tatsu has less than some mono's like Maxima or Big Game.

Tatsu or Invisx. I've never owned any kind of conditioner or spray.

Oldschool G Loomis fan question about current GLX
I personally like the reel seat. I think the current model GLX is the best that they have had. I had a bunch of the old models with the wiebe reel seat and I was never crazy about it.

GLoomis GLX 844C MBR & 854C JWR
I have the GLX 844 and 853 also. The 844 has a Curado E and the 853 a Curado 70. If your used to Falcon you should be comfortable with the MBR action.

Square Bill Crank Baits In Clear Water ?
On Table Rock I always look in the backs of the creeks for stained water. They will chase them in clearer water but personally I never want them to get too good a look at it. I've been throwing it for a couple weeks now and they are getting close. The shad are moving back farther in the creeks as the water cools and the Bass will follow. Of course, if your standing on a pond bank your choices are limited. I've had some success on the OSP Blitz during this transitional deal.

Flat sided cranks
They are a cold water deal for me. The flat A and Dt flat were both good ones back in the day. Might check out the Berkley Fritside.

How effective is “wake lure”?
Around here the Redfin has always been the go to wakebait. The trouble is you have to go through half a dozen to get a couple that will wake right. The best recipe calls for a feathered treble and about 3 suspend dots. I have 2 that are perfect a few that are ok and the rest go in the trash. Or you can just buy a surge shad and fish it right out of the package. Braid helps them both.

Gloomis nrx or glx? For a jig rod
I believe Shimano/Loomis saw that coming and never used the 3M resin. I do know that it hosed Dobyns on the high end rod they were working on before the Xtasy that never got released. It's name escapes me. Doesn't seem like Abu ever did much with it except for maybe the Fantisista or Techna. Or the JDM market.

Gloomis nrx or glx? For a jig rod
I own and have owned a bunch. I never cared for the 89 inch models as much as the 85 but that's personal preference.. To me the GLX is more comfortable than the NRX and the sensitivity is so close that one's not going to catch a fish the other wouldn't have. I would agree with the 853. I've been told it's the most popular Loomis model across the board from E6X to NRX I have it in GLX and NRX and it's a perfect 3/8 - 1/2 ounce jig rod. To me, the 854 is a touch to tight and I could never see the attraction to the 894 and I've owned 2.

Advice First boat St. Louis area
I'm on Table Rock . I have had a aluminum boat on it many years ago but my place is up the James river which normally isn't too bad boat traffic wise. Would I go back to one ? no. Not after years of Tritons, Champions and Rangers. But lots of guys do. I would say find a nice used 18 or 19 ft glass boat . Overall, They drive easy and are forgiving in the rough water. The Aluminum will ride rougher and if its the least bit windy you will be on the trolling motor all day.

High End Topwater Rod and Reel
If you can find one, the original All Star TWS is about as good as it gets. They bring about 4 times what they did back in the day but they are just a fantastic 2 hook walking bait/popper rod and a good smaller stickbait rod like the pointer 100. I can't get very excited over a topwater reel , anything will roll slack.

Bagley Balsa B...
Close enough.. There are better choices but seems lots of folks up north have a thing for Rapala.. Whatever works.. TK customs in Alabama has more original bagleys than I've ever seen . I traded him 4 this spring and they guy knows his stuff.. He has been on the smallmouth crush you tube channel if you want a good tutorial on old vs new and balsa baits in general. Yes, Cliff Pace owns Black Label, It's my understanding he purchased the equipment Ed Chambers (WEC) used after he passed away.

Bagley Balsa B...
I think Rapala owns bagleys now and look what they did to the wiggle wart. I love balsa baits and as much as I like the old Bagley's I think there are better options I'd look at the Black Labels for a reasonably priced option. If you can find them ,Jimmy Etters makes great bait as does Dave's custom baits here in Missouri.

Good Bass Fishing in Missouri?
One other thing you probably don't know...The culture in the Missouri Ozarks is going to be different than what you are used to. Not that their not some great folks and I'm blessed to have my friends but never...ever hire anybody to build a house or dock ect. that you haven't checked out. If you and your family are used to a fast pace you will have to adjust, nobody gets in much or a hurry. If your looking to find work I would stay closer to Table Rock. Towns like Springfield, Ozark or Nixa. For the most Part Bull shoals is really rural..

Good Bass Fishing in Missouri?
Hot Dawg is famous...We get 15 plus foot of visibility at times here on Table Rock. On Beaver it's pretty much like that most of the time. If you don't have some clouds or wind it can be really tough. You will learn how to drag a shaky head in a hurry.

Yes ,I've fished Norfolk and Beaver as well.

Good Bass Fishing in Missouri?
If I was looking in Arkansas I would look in Mountain home or Bella Vista. Mountain home is closer to Norfork than Bull Shoals but always seemed like a nice town, I have some family there. If you want to see Bull I would suggest hiring a guide out of one of the marinas like Pontiac, Oakland, or Bull Shoals boat dock. I wouldn't move there with the idea of bank fishing it. Another thing to add, If you look around K dock on Bull Shoals your within a half hour drive to Table rock.

Good Bass Fishing in Missouri?
Bull Shoals is a nice lake. It's been high for 2 years it seems and was 35 ft up this spring but it still fishes great. Table Rock dumps into Bull Shoals via lake Taneycomo and they catch the water that Table Rock releases. If you can tell me what town or area of the lake you looking at I may be able to help.

Shakey head recommendation for larger worms
I've using a new one a few guys here on Table Rock have started making call 5 Fish. I like the 1/2 oz. The paints not the best but it's got a good hook and I like the centering pin.

MADE IN THE USA
Ardent is still around but I don't believe they made here any longer. At one time the upper end model was made in Macon Missouri.
-
Fishing bigger worms?
I seldom T-rig them anymore. Either a swing head or a 1/2 oz. shaky head. Either the ol'monster or net bait C mac in plumb , red shad, plumb apple ect.. Now's the time for it around here.
