  1. For real, knowing the string trick and getting that hook out right then and there with no pain and not having to go to get it removed at a medical facility would have completely impressed her.
  2. Frogg Toggs here also.
  3. They better hope that Zman doesn't see that. Zman trademarked that.
  4. That's nice but can you throw the Ned Rig on it?
  5. Wonder if they'll be able to catch over 100 fish per worm? Not sure if you ever will need any other colors than PB&J or green pumpkin for the Ned.
  6. I've fished tubes with both spinning and casting rigs but I find them more effective, especially in deeper water, with spinning gear. As said above it's easier to let the tube fall in the spiral action that makes tubes great with a spinning reel since it's easier to let slack out to let it fall. In shallower water it casting works well too but I've switched primarily over to a spinning rig with 30lb braid and a 8lb leader of P-Line CX Premium.
  7. Caught this 3lb 10oz largemouth while kayaking on the Gasconade River in Missouri yesterday. Biggest river largemouth that I've caught.
  8. I can't get used to reeling with my right hand either. I only own left hand reel bait casters. I am right hand dominate also.
  9. I've bought cheapo Chinese snaps off ebay by the 100's and I've never had one open or break on me.
  10. Too green to be a mean mouth. Usually meanies are brown like smallmouth but have the longitudinal line and stripes of the largemouth
  11. No problem. I have that same set of three baits in that link. I think I bought them at Dick's Sporting goods. Their hooks could be better but I have caught fish on them before.
  12. Matzuo square bill http://www.ebay.com/itm/3-Matzuo-2-3-4-Fishing-Lures-Pro-Square-Bill-Size-7-Dives-4-6-FT-MTZ-SQB7-CRAW-/281800544302
  13. Try a Zoom Horny Toad on there. They love them on a duck weed covered pond I fish.
  14. I don't know if that's Glenn or not, but that was some impressive roller skating skills...
  15. I think it's just inherent that boat gas gauges are off. My tracker shows it's empty when it is still half full. I guess it's better to have gas in there when it says there isn't any than the other way around.
  16. Instead of weighing the equipment you could limit it to like whatever you can fit in four 3700 series Plano boxes, a gallon sized ziploc full of plastics, and 5 rods. There could be a guy out there that fishes with nothing but jigs and Texas rigged plastics and his 4 Plano boxes could weigh way over 25lbs with his rods and that wouldn't be fair.
  17. Might want AWD if you put in on steeper ramps. FWD doesn't like slippery steep ramps. My buddy with a FWD Explorer has had issues on sloppy ramps before and have had to call someone with a 4WD to get him out.
  18. I have a non-CHIRP 73SV connected to a CHIRP 53DV through NMEA 0183. It shares waypoints and that's about it when they are connected like that though. Don't even need the sharing cable to make it work. Just a two-pair wire.
  19. I wouldn't use a 20v battery on a 12v fish finder. I use one of these for my kayak fish finder and it works and lasts a long time. $29.99 with charger. http://www.cabelas.com/product/Cabelas-Rechargeable-Volt-Battery/700551.uts?productVariantId=1205523&WT.tsrc=PPC&WT.mc_id=GoogleProductAds&WT.z_mc_id1=00046500&rid=20&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI6-rn7ojL1gIVEbnACh0bjwcnEAQYASABEgJpkfD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

Take a look at the Academy Magellan brand waders. I've had good luck with the breathable ones and it looks like the neoprene ones get good reviews as well. Good prices on them.
  22. Take a look at the Lew's TP1 rods. I bought a Medium one and it's a nice rod. Has the microwave guides to keep line slap down and it has pretty good action. $100 on TW and Academy.
  23. I'm happy with my Carlisle Daytripper paddle. Not the lightest but it has the drip rings and it's angle is adjustable. Gets me across the water. Oh yeah, and Walmart has them for like $40 online.
  24. SK could make a craw in that color by itself and I would buy it no problem.
  25. Custom color? lol The tube color I use is actually called Puke, so....maybe?
