Couple Of Brownies
I fish Lake Michigan with my father in law for salmon, and we usually smoke the fish we get. Stuff it with garlic, lemon, pepper and some salt. It's excellent. I don't care for Great Lakes salmon on the grill or oven though, nor do I eat it that often. I have had one brown trout with a bunch of rainbows before and they were all very good table fare. They were White River trout though, so I'm sure they were tastier than a Great Lakes fish. Anyway, nice looking fish.

Let us know how it does for you and what you pair it up with in terms of a rod.

Flipin' The Bird
The guy who makes them is Sam Kennedy. Very nice guy and neat lures. I haven't used/bought one but it's the same concept as a hollow body frog. Frog/bird/mice...you can't go wrong with any of them. Glad you enjoyed Flipin The Bird. One day when my frog box dwindles down I'll pick one up, but I have about 50 frogs/rats right now, and I use maybe 3.

Revo Gen 3 Vs. Chronarch 200E
Actually I was just speaking for LMGon what he really wanted to say. I have no loyalty to one company or another. I have Shimanos, Quantum, Pflueger, and abu. I rarely get in a beef here except on the debate of rods that are assembled in Mexico and how inferior they are. *sarcasm* I think the Revos are fine looking reels, have never used one though so can't give input there. I have a C4, mighty fine reel.

There, I fixed it for you. I have the 200E5, awesome reel. No experience with Revos so no input from me there. I'm happy with what I have.

Taking Yamamotos Out Of The Bag To Store
I personally like to keep them ziplocked air tight. If you're only keeping them in a box for a short period I think you'll be ok. I wouldn't store them for a long time in a box. That's just me.

I checked BPS and Cabelas brand. No luck. Perhaps a discontinued item.

Nanofil Fraying Experience
So what is the castability difference between Nano vs all others? Are you getting 10 feet further, 20 feet? 20 yards?

Anyone Know What Brand And Model This Lure Is?
The color doesn't match the Flikr Shad offerings, but the body is pretty close. I'm looking still, I'll update if I find it.

St.croix Mojo Bass Spinning Rod? What Are Your Thoughts?
Why do the St. Croix threads have to turn into a "Made in USA" topic. It's ridiculous. Let people fish/buy what they want. End of story. This crap is really getting dull. If you can't contain yourself not to make a comment that is useful to the thread, then don't post. The posts don't do anything but pour gas on the fire. It's not even worth discussing St. Croix here without it turning into a flame fest.

Da Bears!
That was the good old days! The absolute dream team. Now we got McMahon suing the NFL and Riddell. Soon these guys will all be signing loads of waivers just to play. I heard an interview of McMahon saying had he known the risks of concussions back then, he wouldn't have played the game. I call BS on that statement.

One is a split grip one is not. Different strokes for different folks. I use both, love both.
