  1. Last I read was March of 2016. Looks like a cool bait, however in the pike infested waters I fish, they'd make short work of it. I might get one to toss around in the ponds by my house that I know don't have toothy fish.
  2. Mattlures hardgill hands down. Got Em Coach is good too. Guess it all depends on what type of bluegill swimbait you're referring to.
  3. I already got a price check from "my guy" around lunch time. Its a $350 his cost for the inducer motor assembly, so after I throw him some cheddar on top i'm looking at $450 probably. On the phone last night he thought it would only be about $150 like you said, but he was wrong. I don't think he's pulling a fast one because he's done work on the side for me before and I do work for his company as well. His wife used to work for me too. I'll get those numbers and research this weekend. I'd prefer he or someone in the field does it just to be safe. Normal circumstances I like to do as much as I can on my own but not on something like this in fear of making matters worse. If you find out anymore, cool, if not no big deal. I appreciate the help.
  4. I have 14,400 yds of 12# Smoke. This line is fantastic. The knot strength and line strength in general is incredible and while i don't advise NOT retying every time you go out, I have and it held up just fine. I too have experienced FC knots breaking that are a "day" old so to speak and not retied. You should wet it down when cinching tight just like any line. In regards to it floating/sinking, I've used it on many topwater lures as well with no problems. it doesn't truly float on surface from my observations but more or less a super super slow sink. It is just an all around great multi use line and I primarily fish braid with everything. I use YZ for cranking, jerkbaits and topwater trebles. The difference in .011 to .013 diameter is going to be marginal and I wouldn't worry about it at all. Get the 12# line with confidence and use a little KVD LL to tame it. Spray it on the night before or a few hours before you go out and you're golden.
  5. There are far more slogans that appropriately fit this disgrace of a state.
  6. Paul, try again. Not sure why it was private but I fixed that. I'm in Sugar Grove now and I have a guy too which I consulted with. I'm almost certain the noise is coming from the Inducer motor. The furnace runs fine, heat is good it's just a nuisance of a noise. The reason I (and my HVAC friend) think it is the inducer motor because once that kicks on sometimes you can hear the same noise but much more faint. Almost as if the sound is coming from the fan that is just outside of the inducer motor. Then as its running and heat is blowing the noise pulses in and out like in the video much louder. I was just looking for some more opinions on it, and perhaps someone is very familiar with the problem. I looked online and it doesn't seem to be just my Carrier furnace that this problem has come up.
  7. Thanks for the update. Wishing you a fast recovery.
  8. Just recently my carrier furnance started make this really strange humming noise. Furnace is 13 years old. Sometimes it does it a couple times and other times the entire duration as it's running. It also seems to only do it when there is flame and as soon as the flame goes off for the last 20-30 seconds the noise stops. Any professional opinions are appreciated. I know this, its not vibrations making the noise.
  9. 684 for 1/2 oz or smaller. 685 for 1/2-3/4 oz.
  10. I'm late to this but wishing you a healthy and quick recovery Dwight. You will overcome this. Keeping you in my thoughts.
  11. A recent and a new favorite is Oban 14 year Single Malt. Good stuff

  13. Ragnar Lothbrooks sunken vessel.
  14. Siebert 3/8 oz bluegill color swim jig with a Rage Twin Menace in blue sapphire. Have fun.
  15. How many neon pink and chartreuse forage do you see swimming around? None I bet...yet they catch fish. I prefer the natural patterns myself, but in certain conditions ill throw around the bright colors. Worry more about where you're fishing, is actually holding fish vs the color of your bait and whether its the "right" color. I throw sexy shad colors in water that has never held a real shad and it gets annihilated.
  16. You could always be the next A Martens and drop shot everything in sight lol . Hopefully you recoup where you need to so you can still fish for bucket mouths. At least you have a 6 month span of winter you couldn't really fish during anyway. Its ice out thats gonna suck but health comes first. I promise ill leave you a few fish to catch when you're ready.
  17. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
  18. Same here. but I do it because I can print off multiple copies and put one in my tackle bag, the boat, my wallet, and anywhere else just in case i forget it.
  19. You know....you can save some gas and buy your license online. Agree on all other comments. I rarely go to either now. Buying online saves ALOT of cash.
