  1. Same experience here. I have caught quite a few along channel edges and then marked the spot, anchored up and caught a few more
  2. If everyone saying the dollar is worthless or it is inflation on here really believed that then their box would be full of these baits

i highly doubt this game will be moved unless it is a blizzard. i have read a few articles though that are stating this is one of the cheapest superbowls to get tickets for in years and that the location while near NYC is just far enough away to annoy people. I will be watching at home on my couch now if the Eagles ever make another one in my lifetime i may just have to spring for tickets for me, my dad and son.....

I was saying that in this case, whichever team has home field advantage they get to have the game at home and their season ticket holders get first crack at the tickets. I also don't see why only in football it has to be played on neutral territory other than it is a one and done deal even though the playoffs have home field already..... There should be an advantage for the team with the better record and to lose that advantage just because it is for all the marbles seems strange to me.
  5. I agree, a beautiful car that is instantly recognizable. I don't see myself ever owning anything close to that but i do see a well restored Jeep wagoneer in my future at some point....like one of these only about 10 years older http://www.wagonmaster.com/1659/1659gw.htm

It would be interesting to see which people are against it and which are for it and what states they are from...... I still think that the best record should have home field in the Super Bowl.....and that includes letting season ticket holders have the ability to buy tickets before anyone else as they support their team all year long and deserve the opportunity to see them on the biggest stage.
  7. I haven't spent that much on a lure but that is mainly because i don't throw swim baits.....yet lol I can also relate to the amount or craftsmanship and skill that it takes to make these baits so the price is reasonable.

I like it being played in the elements. If you are measuring the best all around football team it needs to be the best team all around not just in domes or good conditions. I am looking forward to the game and i think denver wins by 2 tds
  9. Yeah i wouldn't bid on that rod, especially sight unseen, even for $50. Not to mention here in the springtime Bass Pro runs their rod trade in deal which could get you a few dollars off and get a brand new rod.
  10. I have used the bass pro cranks before and they are ok. They usually need some tuning, the finish wears off more quickly and the hooks are total crap, as in i had three different models have them break off when reeling in a fish but other than that, they are ok. For the price they are good but just keep in mind they are not going to be as good as some of the other higher priced baits. Personally i would go up a little in price to the SK cranks but my personal preference is for rapala cranks.
  11. For a little bit more though I think the rage is even better. Better blank, lighter weight and better sensitivity. I also feel that the rage series is a little more true to power ratings where the mojo line seems to be rated a touch light.
  12. I think it is the best rod in the mojo line up. I had a similar veritas and didn't like it for the senko style presentations but it was good for jerkbaits.
  13. Nah....I am not hiring right now.
  14. Nobody is offended but it is bad taste to critique someone who was asked to help someone else and you really had nothing to do with it other than coming in to stir up trouble. Nobody is on a message board expecting perfect grammar but when a person comes in asking for critiques and gets it, nobody is implying that their own work is perfect but rather looking to help out the person who asked. And part of good writing is being able to convey your thoughts and feelings without people taking them the wrong way..... I say you post up your resume and let us critique it
  15. I don't fish mono anymore but when i did i was fishing 2-3 days a week which included at least one full day and a few after work trips. I would then change it every other week or so but never longer than a month.
  16. Your tone and implication would indicate that you were dismissing the advice. No, the post is not hypocritical when someone asks for feedback and it is provided that is how it works. Now if it was in another context and I was critiquing the writing when nto being asked, then you bet i will be sure to limit my errors. You ask for what could or should be changed and the information is given. You will notice that the original poster did not look to point out errors in anyone else's posts but rather took the feedback and made changes. Feedback is never easy to take but the sooner you can learn from it, the better off you will be.
  17. Well when i submit my resume for review i can promise you there will not be any grammatical, spelling or typographical errors. Also be careful because you didn't point out one grammatical error but rather spelling errors or typos so.....Keep in mind bulletin boards are not professional but when posting a resume asking for feedback, that is what you will get. So a word of advice, before dismissing anyone's feedback or critique be sure to look at what they said and not get defensive and pick apart their work because there is a good chance if you critique yourself as much, there wouldn't have been many mistakes made in the first place.
  18. If they can get him out of his BBQ pit in left field he would be a welcome addition to the lineup.....Amaro might be the absolute worst GM in baseball history
  19. I am amzaed and sooo thankful the Phillies have such an awesome GM in Amaro....i mean first they signed Marlon Byrd and now Abreu!!! World Series in 2014!!!
  20. Losing Cano is going to be bigger than they think....losing grandersen doesn't help either
  21. Never going to happen....i just hope i can make a few hundred more this year to help supplement my new kayak(s) fund
  22. Dang that means you may have seen the Eagles win a championship......lucky wretched
  23. SuperBowl without a doubt. I haven't missed on that i can remember and I don't plan to. I usually don't have a party but i end up cooking up a ton of food for some reason. Speaking of which, i need to start thinking about the menu
  24. That is pretty cool. Do people ask for it though or is it kind of one of those rules on the books that nobody really bothers to use?
  25. Even a great defense would be holding manning to 24 points or so but i don't think seattle can keep up offensively in this one even with that killer defense.
