Megabass Pop X
Pop-x is smaller and lighter and doesnt have the open slits in the gill region. As noted above I prefer the weight, size, and action of the popmax.

First Bait After Ice Out
This seems about right for me. Probably would put a drop shot and a spinnerbait on there.

Thoughts On The D-Shad
Not better overall. There only advantages over the Zoom Superfluke are casting distance and sink rate which allows them to be fished deeper. The action and fall isnt as good IMO. Flukes are best in shallower water with cover. D-shads are more open water or light cover options when I need a bait to get down and stay down deeper. Also like senkos, durability is a minor concern.

Bunch Of New Products, Keitech, Strike King, Rage,
Mike, this is a great move. Thanks for listening to us when we gave feedback. There aren't many guys out there that make quality jigs and terminal tackle yet alone sell quality jig trailers and other various stand alone products. When I need another order I will add a few "extras". Thanks!

Quick Glass Rod Question
Glass rods are for moving baits. You should be fine using them for cranks, jerkbaits, traps, & topwaters. The secondary uses would be spinnerbaits and chatterbaits. I would NOT fish jigs, weightless plastics, texas rigs, carolina rigs or frogs on this rod.

Energy Drinks.
^^ This ^^ ... I have replaced alot of caffeinated sodas, energy drinks, and 5 hour energy drinks with various forms of tea made by a company called Yogi, Naked juice, and more water and exercise. Don't care for the elevated heart rate and internal health damage energy drinks provide.

Max Lb Line For Fluorocarbon For Bc Worm/jig Set Up??
12-15#. Handling suffers the higher up you go. I have yet to be broken off by a bass on 12# line that wasnt my fault.

Jackall Flickshake
The flickshake is a great finesse presentation. It has good scent and great action. I like them wacky rigged only. Personally they are great drop shot baits and good on the Jackall tungsten wacky jig gead. The downside is durability.

Who Knows Dobyns Rods? Need A Spinnerbait Rod.
I really like the Savy 734 for those weights. The rating of Heavy is generous for this rod but the reserve power is there. I just dont get the need for a most sensitive or more expensive rod if it will be a rod only used for spinnerbaits. There is a rod within each of the Dobyns line that fish spinnerbaits but since trying the Savy 734 I havent felt the need to go higher up the ladder. It is also a good rod for chatteraits, swimjigs, smaller paddle tail swimbaits.

Size And Line Type
I fish 3 types of flourocarbon for jigs and soft plastics. They are Tatsu, Shooter, and Sniper. Shooter has the best abrasion resistance and is slightly more sensitive but doesnt handle as well as the other two. Tatsu combines handling, abrasion resistance, sensitivity, and longevity in one. Sniper is similar to tatsu but a notch or two below it in the same categories. Pick the best you can afford and dont forget to use backing to maximize your line mileage.

Rod Or Reel...where Do You Invest Your Money?
50/50 on the 2 depending upon what I want to spend or can spend for a given technique. Alot of my reels have upgrades and rods vary across the board. I try to balance things out with quality reels, rods, and line.

Core 50Mg?
I use one on one my jig rods. It is a great all around reel though the weight, profile, and line capacity makes folks think it is a finesse reel. It is phenomenal reel and well put together for any plastic or jig techniques. I also have 12# tatsu on mine. No issues with line capacity.

Topwater Rod And Reel
Dobyns 705 cb glass. Use it for a whole host of things including topwaters.

Megabass - 2 Questions
There may have been one year or so where one could receive Megabass products discounted from retailers. Now it just isn't allowed. I was fortunate enough to get a few rods including the EMTF for a light discount. Even at 5.8 ounces it balances well and performs very well for a multitude of techniques.

Bad Experience With Bps Pro Qualifier
Go to YouTube or somewhere to find out how to access the internal brake and see how it should be aligned to apply less braking force. You will have to sort of jostle the side plate around a bit to get it to come off. At that point you can access the internal brakes.
-
Bad Experience With Bps Pro Qualifier
The spool tension knob and magnetic brake are on the outside. There is a second internal brake inside the reel. If this isnt adjusted properly distance will suffer. If these 3 items are in check it could be a bearing problem that a propper flush and relube would get rid of.

Reel Size For Dropshot Shakey Head
The difference between a 2500 series and 3000 series lies in the line capacity. The 2500 is more than adequate for 7# line.

Cool Soft Plastics
Dahlberg frog and Dahlberg craw. Great looking baits and concepts but they dont work as advertised for me nor have I landed anything on them. The flying lure was sort of cool for being a lure that had uniqe action. Doug Hannon has a whole mess of soft plastic surface snakes you can buy online. JDM baits have great finishes if you are into life like lures. Most of them have better components and actions from their harbaits to softbait lines.

Favorite Lure To Use-
Frogs are generally entertaining if the bite is slow. They cast far and give you something to watch above the surface and dont really snag up. For a year round lure it would be a jig.
