  4. Fun day today in greenfield, hitting zephyr and sunset...
  5. How deep was the fish caught? 4 ft Did the lure contain rattles or have hinges? yes Was the lure a natural color (brown, green) or was it an unnatural color (chartreuse, orange)? natural If possible, what moon phase was your PB caught during? no idea
  6. I use PEDs, boat swinging 15lbs bass like it is nothing!
  7. Rage craws, usually throw 2/0 hooks with a 1/16 or 3/16 bullet weight.... Works for me
  8. Biggest bass on spinning gear, 5lbs 11 oz... my PB
  9. You are an ANIMAL!
  10. I'm going to get a 7'1" MH St.Croix rage micro guide rod and I am looking for a reel to pair with for Carolina rigging. What gear ratio? Reel suggestions, even rod suggestions, etc. All and any help will be appreciated. Now I'm thinking I should go with a bit bigger of a rod, maybe a 7' 4" H or a 7' 6" MH?.?.?.?
  11. Topwater is awesome for smallmouth at night, Damiki d pop and jitterbugs are my favorite. If you don't like trebles at night maybe you could switch out the hooks on a jitterbug or whatever bait your throwing to a single gamakatsu octopus hook ( I have never done this, just a thought). If you do try this make sure the action of the bait is still good, I would think it may affect the movement. Don't forget about some soft plastic topwater baits as well... I do the same thing as you said, going with bigger baits for largemouth at night. For smallies I haven't really tried upgrading the size of my bait. A good suspending jerkbait seems to slam them. The the smallies (and largemouth) will move higher up in the water column and a good topwater or jerkbait will satisfy. Once you get one or two on a jerkbait or topwater then I would start fishing the bottom with soft plastics of your choice. On a jig, texas rig, caralina rig, etc.
  12. You are my hero!
  13. I think you did the right thing, but who knows, maybe him and his family haven't had a meal in a few days... I know it is still wrong and agree with what you did but I don't think that the guy who did it is necessarily a BAD person.. ~Good work
  14. Those look really good, I'm going to have to give those a try someday...
  15. I wouldn't be throwing an inline spinner on casting gear... If that is all you have from a rod/reel standpoint I would try different baits, there are plenty of baits that will produce more hits than the inline spinner and you may have an easier time setting the hook...
  16. I saw a spectator moon the camera today lol!
  17. I am fishing them texas rigged with a 2/0 hook and a 1/16oz bullet weight... All the fish above were caught like that...
  18. I honestly catch atleast 5 fish with one craw... No problems with dudurability.
  19. You guys are right, octopus hook
