In a wooded environment I carry one, in an open environment three. I take a small bag with 3500 boxes with the lures/plastics for that particular body of water, time of year, or water color. I use a 3 rod carrier for open bank areas, I don't like laying my gear on the ground. If I just have an hour or two, one combo and a few baits. Brian.

Different strokes I guess. I know you're a fan of Suffix Advanced Mono, I on the other hand, am not. I really liked it at first, low stretch, slick, manageable, but after a few weeks it became stiff, brittle, opaque and rough. I tried a few spools with the same result with all. Might be the waters I fish, don't know. I do know, I've lost all faith in it. I read constantly the issues guys are having with the 20 Metanium. I have 5, never ever an issue with any of them and they're fished hard. That doesn't mean guys don't have issues, it just means I haven't. Brian.

I've experienced this from both sides. Fishing Okeechobee 2 years ago I was flat out hammering them on a Lipless. My Bud couldn't buy a bite. I gave him my bait, he switched from Braid to Fluoro, changed reel ratio, and still wasn't catching anything. A few years ago on the Susquehanna I couldn't buy a bite throwing the same Spinnerbait my Bud was throwing and I was getting first cast at everything. I know he out fished me 10-1.
