I had two at the start of last year . I caught so many bass with them that they both broke . The last one I didnt lose the blades so transferred them to a hand poured bait .After about thirty bass , I would then switch them to a new one . I made this switch several times , then one morning I tied a bad knot and launched the lure into the stratosphere . I like those Terminator blades .

It really sucks for the guys who chose him in Fantasy fishing . They lose 100 points because of him not weighing those two little bass in on day two . That could cost somebody a major prize at the end of the year . He should make an appearance and humbly weigh his dinks in . If he cant do that , after all he is a legend , then maybe he should just retire .

One year I wanted to up my top water game so I dedicated 1 hour of every trip to top waters , no matter what the conditions . I caught more bass on a Dalton Special than all others .

My winter time fishing is done from bank and usually consist of going below a dam just to try too catch anything . I catch bass on a crappie jig and grub .

I have one box for long billed baits . If I'm fishing 5 to 8 foot then my vintage Rebel Deep Weer R's , Bomber Models A's and Wiggle Warts get used . Norman Deep Little N's get the nod for 9 to 10 foot . I have some Rapala Crankin Rap CR14 that get used a lot from 10 to 12 foot . Anything deeper than that I use Berkely Dredgers . They run at the advertised depth with 12 lb mono and a long cast . So I'll use the 14,5 to about 12 foot . the 17.5 to about 15 foot . the 20.5 to about 18 foot and 25.5 for deeper water . The deepest I have caught fish on a diving crank is 22 foot with the Dredger 25.5 . Simple as that , no need "for me" to make it any more complicated . If they dont work then I do something different like bounce a Red Eye Shad off the bottom ..

I only peg my weight if the brush is thick like cedar trees of freshly made brush piles . If I'm fishing old wood I dont peg .

If I found some on clearance I'd get them . They are too expensive .

I have a channel but no fishing on it. There are three short metal detecting videos and I am so bad at speaking I quit trying to make videos .

In 9 foot of water I choose the lure that runs 12 foot .

I throw 1/2 ounce spinnerbaits all the time on a rod with the exact same ratings . It cast 1/2 ounce lures easier and more accurately than 3/8 ounce baits .

Last year, twice on the same day Kingfishers attacked my spinnerbait that was being waked right below the surface . Luckily they didnt get hooked .
