  1. I saw that .Also Whitaker backlashed so bad he had to put the rod and reel away . Hackney made an overhand cast under a bridge and hit the bottom of it . One of the guys hit his cameraman with a lure . We're all screw-ups .
  2. Chartreuse and white are good colors for muddy water .
  3. My biggest fear are bees , especially ground hornets . They hate me .
  4. I'm not seeing the red baits thrown today . Mostly chartreuse and shad colors .

Heres the Bomber Prop A in silver flash . My most successful retrieve is to twitch it as fast as I can but still remain in contact with the surface . It excels post spawn around cover and points leading away from spawning coves . I have several new in package .Although unavailable Bagleys offers the same design . I have never used the Bagleys .
  6. You would think they would have a weigh -in an hour or two later during fog delays .
  7. What an unusual lip shape . I dont have a clue .
  8. Did you guys see they are giving out 1000 dollar bonuses to anglers who get bass trac right . Bass is trying to male it more accurate for viewers and Fantasy Fishing participants .

My favorite prop bait is the Bomber Prop A , long ago discontinued but I purchased a lifetime supply .The heaviest 6 bass limit I ever caught was on one . Bagleys makes a similar one , the Bang-O-Lure with a tail prop .
  10. I fish riprap from shore and yes some lures are lost .So I use inexpensive lures like pre-rigged swimbaits , Beetle spins , jig and grub .A Beetle spin creates more lift than a jig and grub if need be . I fan cast , let the lure sink and as soon as it touches down , pop it up and retrieve , following the contour from deep to shallow . It can be fished effectively this way . On rivers rip rap is best in summer . Large waves from boats or barges dislodges bait fish , crawfish , nymphs... and all sorts of game fish including bass take advantage of it .
  11. My A and B picks are going home but C,D and E fish tomorrow .
  12. The only top water I have had any luck with in late winter /early spring is a Bomber Long A Minnow .
  13. I usually go with a tandem just because I catch lots of bass on it .
  14. I like crawfish imitators like Wiggle warts and Mudbugs fished parallel to steep rocky sunny banks .
  15. Because he was in last place anyways it was meaningless to him . I know of two other times hes done it , probably done it more than that. He finishes near the bottom so often that weighing in a couple of dinks is not going to boost his angler of the year standings so why bother .
  16. My cousin and I were fishing team tourneys . One tournament we brought in a limit and I caught every one of them . Good enough for third place . We were using the same baits . Very next tourney he caught the limit and I wore the collar . Same lures . Took second that time .
  17. Dont throw a lot pumpkin but the pumpkin I've done best with is called chartreuse pumpkin . Its a little brighter with black flakes . Works good out deep with about five foot of visibility .
  18. I think hes saying jigs are over-priced too .?
  19. I have never used them for largemouths that I can remember but there is no reason why they would not work well . I have slaughtered river smallmouths T-rigging them .
  20. "Die Harding" Nancy Kerrigan gets revenge . Never mind . Already been done .
  21. @DitchPanda They seem over-priced to me too . I havent bought any .
  22. Now thats a Piggly Wiggly !
  23. Me and you are lucky that we have some because they are that good .
  24. Thats a great show . I binge watched it all in one day .
  25. For Christmas I received my first quality pair of headphones . So I've been listening to lots of music . Big Iron by Marty Robbins sound really good with them .
