  6. I got stuck by a catfish in the meaty part of my hand . I got dizzy with cold and clammy sweats and had to lay down for several minutes .
  7. Close to 100 per cent casting .
  8. Have fun .
  9. Different lures are treated differently . Crankbaits , spinnerbaits ... I do a rod sweep when I feel a fish on .Topwaters I set the hook when I feel the fish not when I see the hit [ this is difficult to do and I mess up topwater strikes frequently .] Texas rigs and jigs I set the hook after taking most of the slack out then hit them hard .
  10. I'm fishing from a boat .
  11. The fish are not always buried under the biggest part of the tree . A lot of times there are fish hanging around the outside branches . I try to pick them off first then go to the main trunk .
  12. Just depends . Try hard and strive to make good decisions . If its a downed tree I"m going to make a lot of pitches . I'll usually start from the outside and work my way in . Its not unusual to catch more than one fish or several from a good tree or brush pile . Even if its just a single stick poking out of the surface , it may be the tip of the iceberg .

  14. So, I'm not the only one . I try real hard to get the positioned perfectly and somehow wind up right on top of the cover .
  15. I use 12 lb on most of my combos . 15 lb is good for texas rigs and jigs .
  16. I still do that one .
  17. I googled that , wow . I guess small craft will just have to stay off the water .
  18. Crowded boat ramps then some guy backs down not prepared to launch .
  19. Steep banks are like other structure and something different will hold more fish . Look for cuts and juts .
  20. I always fished and use to go to mom and pop tackle stores too look at all the cool bass lures . I wanted to catch fish on those lures .One summer I bought two. Forgot which one was first . A jointed Mirrollure and a Storm Thin Fin .

  22. Looks like a largemouth to me .
  23. If I know a good spot on public water that someone showed me , I'm going to fish it . The urge is just to strong .
  24. Quantity vs quality . I go after both . It a lot funner catching 70 dinks and one six lber than 2 dinks and 1 six lber .
  25. If I catch fish in an area then yeah i'll tell everybody that I caught my bass in cove three... If I catch my bass on a specific spot in cove three , such as a slight depression surrounded by four stumps , i'm keeping that a secret .
