Fire Tiger is a good choice too.

Bass eat anything if it fits.
I wonder what bird that is? Some kind of wading shore bird?

Rubber skirt storage
I keep skirts in plastic sleeves made for fire extinguisher tags.

Holy crap watch this!
I saw a great Blue heron wolf down a decent sized bass, easily.

Bigger bass displaced?
Time to sharpen the fillet knife.

What's your 1 lure/2 color choice?
I'm off the Yum Dinger kick for the time being, too much line twist used as a Texas rig. Now I'm on the Strike King Cut R worm wagon and I'm bringing June Bug and Plum.

How was your summer bass fishing experience?
I have been learning an unfamiliar lake, finding spots , catching fish and having fun . Just havent caught anything huge. Been in a big fish slump.

Skipping?
I've been doing it , poorly . Not very accurate and a lot of loops. When I do get a good one its cool. Chatterbaits are pretty good for overhanging trees.

St Lawrence River - Elite
As far as Randy goes , I unsubscribed , not because of his views on FFS but because of his constant lecturing. He thinks he has this insight on life that every one else lacks and feels the need to convey it . He has some good tips and a couple of them I use all the time now.

Drag preferences on Baitcast?
I dont know how to set the drag either and just go by feel. I'm going to go check, using a scales, what my worm rod is set at right now. Am I suppose to measure with the string through the guides on a bent rod or straight out of the reel ?

Tough "catching" indicators
The high blue bird skies dont bother me a lot on lakes that I know. On water I dont know , I'll probably struggle.

Have you ever and if not, why not?
I use to fish a river from canoe for smallmouths, never saw another bass fisherman. When word finally got out , it spread quickly and now the river is nothing like it once was. It went from 100 fish days to skunks.

Dumpster diving for bass
Maybe but I dont think so. He was telling me the history of the lake , the dozer piles that use to be there and other info. He was knowledgeable and my B.S. meter wasnt going off.

Ignominy.

Dumpster diving for bass
I dont think its the worm as much as the location . There are hidden brushpiles out there and these lake regulars know where they are. I have found a few.

Dumpster diving for bass
I had a decent day Tuesday on a 150 acre lake. Caught around 25 bass on buzzbaits and worm. Biggest about three lbs. I talked with guy at the ramp who he said he caught two six lbers and a five. I didnt press him for info but when he left he threw his trash out in a dumpster. So I checked it out and there were six seven inch purple Rage Tail worms in his trash bag. They appeared to only catch one bass each, were barely torn up and skin hooked on the side. Well at least I know the bait he was using . I kept them, cut a half inch off the tip. I'll use them next time .
