Ive caught a lot of river smallmouths from a half submerged car.

Xcite xb1 sqarebill . Its suppose to be a superior casting lure . Berkely half heads . Its suppose to be a good all around jig head for neds, tubes, swinbaits...

If thats the same video I viewed , one of the baits actually pivots up and down .

My baits are worse than that and catch limits regularly.

Usually my first real outing of the year is tight-lining for whatever where a creek dumps into a swollen river . I get the poles set out , then start on a fire . It takes awhile to get the fire going because bites start happening quickly. I'll spend a day there , very therapeutic .

I'm convinced, no bat crap for me.

Do you not want to use it because its disgusting or dangerous?

I saw that article too. His business is wildlife control, so I'm skeptical. Thats a lot.

I have several photos in the latest catch pics thread of nice bass caught on Beetle spins. Both largemouth and smallmouth.

There is an abandoned building nearby with a pile of guano on the floor . Thinking about getting a bucket for my tomatoes . Just want to be cautious and not inhale harmful dust or add to much to the soil . My plot is 10'x3' and will hold four plants. Any of you used it before?

I wish there was regular vegetation here to fish, instead tons of Chara algae. I catch a lot of fish in it , its a challenge .Most folks avoid it, I learned to fish it .Plenty of wood, standing timber, brush piles , lay downs . I fish points a lot and also flats where they drop off . Not many humps to target .

I fish the regular Long A's like that but they may be larger than what you want .

Spiderman is the greatest there was, is and always will be. My dad started me out with a cane-pole and I broke it on a big bass.

Hard telling but a spinnerbait is always one of the first I catch bass on .

This needs to be redone with funny lure names. Whopper Ploppers , Snagless Sallys, Wiggle Warts, Weed Waders, War Pigs...

Heres my system . It takes a minute to find the lure desired.

I use a 3600 with no dividers . Spinnerbaits and buzzbaits go in zip-lock bags and haphazardly stored inside . Theres also a bag with skirts.

There is the Bagleys Bang-O-Lure spin tail . I never had one. They are the same basic design.

Its a Bomber Long A with a prop called a Prop A . They didnt catch on and were discontinued . I have a half dozen or so .

I believe the average bass caught on this bait is greater than all others for me . Just a killer in the spring . Twitch it slowly or as quickly as possible and remain in contact with the surface . It also works as a competent wake bait .

I watch other people fish cover , both pros and weekenders , and lots of them quit fishing their lure once it exits the cover . I'm referring to lures like jigs and texas rigs . I keep working my lure after it leaves the cover , sometimes all the way back to the boat . Maybe close to half my hits come after the lure exits . I suspect sometimes the bass follows the lure and other times it is positioned there. Its more time consuming but I feel worth it . What you say?
