When I was little the only famous fisherman I knew of was Virgil Ward . Championship fishing aired on Sunday mornings and it was a must watch for me . After every show he demonstrated how he worked his lures in an aquarium . He was routinely lifting and dropping . That stuck with me .

Heres one way of fishing it that lucked onto a few years back . I found fish relating to a point with my sonar that were correctly identified as bass . I tried cranks and worms but could not get a bite . I then tried hopping a paddle-tail grub on a jig-head with open hook and still no takers . I experimented, lifting the bait high off the bottom then kept the line tight allowing it to pendulum back and got bit. Caught a bunch more afterwards that way .

Could be kidney stones but when I passed one , bending and twisting didnt effect it . I still have two that I'm not looking forward to passing .

I havent seen the movie and now hearing rap music is inserted I think I'll keep it that way .

I have done it a couple of times but had trouble getting it balanced . The lure came in sideways . I had a Storm fixed arm spinnerbait that came with a soft swimbait and I wore it out on one trip . Caught so many fish , including a six , that the wire broke .

I dont do much flipping but pitch a lot . I have a difficult time pithing with my wormin rod with a weight less than 5/16 .

I do crosswords . Cant hack Sudoku .

The conditions can be so bad that bites are almost impossible to come by. I like this bait in high muddy water with just an inch or two of visibility. Slow and shallow. .

Informative videos . I know one particular small lake extremely well . I have scads of spots that routinely hold fish . Being its an elec. motor only lake I fish my way from spot to spot and eventually bass are caught everywhere , Nothing banks , structure , cover . There is one nothing bank that routinely gives up nice fish .
