  1. Just a couple of things . If the water has risen recently I sometimes catch bass in the same places before it rose . If I was catching them at 5 foot and it rises 3 foot I find bass 8 foot at times. I like to fish fast too but if a good piece of cover is happened on I'm not leaving it until it is fished with a slower more methodical presentation .
  2. Thats cool.
  3. I've been eyeing this mold myself as an all around jig-head. If its not a problem , see if it will work in a tube .
  4. If this is the same stuff posted in Bassmaster during the 80;s I tried following it with little success .
  5. I stopped at this place on "The Hill" in St.Louis and got a hot salami sandwich . I dont remember the name of the place but it was busy and that sandwich was so good. Just googled it "Giola's Deli. https://www.gioiasdeli.com/
  6. Never used lump. Think I'll give it a go.
  7. Thats margarita time.
  8. That may be the way I end up going . The half heads fit the baits a little snugger but I desire a little larger hook than the Ned heads I have used. I save my used Dingers for Neds and they dont leave much gap for the hook. I have lots and lots of lead to use up.
  9. Have you tried then with tubes and other applications?
  10. I was looking at those but I would have to purchase a mold for each weight . I just found this one . It appears that it would work for lots of different finesse presentations. Have you used these? . https://www.jannsnetcraft.com/025724031833

  13. I plan on pouring jig-heads and looking for a design that will work well for neds, tubes, small worms... Suggestions? Something similar to the Berkley Half-Head.
  14. I make weights with a skirt color using a spinnerbait mold . I use a piece of wire and no hook then just pull the wire out after its poured .
  15. Thats a lunker . I could barely see the one I passed and they tell me there are two more just biding their time .
  16. Thats the color I was referring to, my favorite.
  17. I dont have a favorite but have been using Gizits because I have a lot . I do have a favorite color . Dont know the official name but its root beer colored and I'll run a chartreuse marker down the back creating a two tone brown and green .
  18. Most new anglers have a decent idea where bass like to hang at . They also have a good idea on what lures to throw in those places . Whats left is execution . Getting the lure in there accurately without spooking the bass , manipulation and strike detection .
  19. I have 2 in the bottom 5.
  20. congrats . Only two guys without limits .
  21. Brian New is the anchor of my squad . Hes holding them down .
