Spinner Bait Rod.
I find the action is a matter of balence between spinner bait weight and action. This is very similar to matching crank bait size/depth with the rods weight. So, I use a MHF for anything 1/2 ounce or more and MF for anything less than a 1/2 ounce.

Autopilot Trolling Motor??
The I-pilot can turn 360 degrees in the auto mode. If you mount any transducer on the lower unit and it pivots 360 degrees it will put tension ant the cable and break it

Autopilot Trolling Motor??
You cannot mount a side imaging unit on this trolling motor. You would have to mount it on the transom usually 18+ feet behind you...

Autopilot Trolling Motor??
Just remember that you have to get one with a built in sensor and you cannot add any side imaging because the shaft can rotate 360 degrees and you cannot have a cable secured to the shaft.

Jig/worm Questions
As far as jig trailers it depends on the season. Pork trailers work good when the waters cold < 55 degrees. It's more compact and when you downsize your jig it falls slower.n the best jig trailer in my opinion is any craw imitation, twin tail grub plastic chunk. Jig usually melt in the heat if they have rubber skirts. Silicone skirts have less than a rubber when it comes to melting. Any plastic bait with a scent runs the risk of loosing thatbscent over time unless it's in a airtight bag.

Hds10
I have the Hds 8 on the bow and an Hds 10 at the console. I think the 8 being smaller works better at the bow and has the same resolution. Each one has their own side imaging transducer networked together. They wok great shallow oe deep.

How Would You Fish This?
Just a thought, since the water is cold, you have vegitation, I would suggest you might try a finese approach with a split shot, or floating worm and let it slowly settle in the vegiation.....

New To Tying Jigs
You will need some other tools. You'll need an inexpensive skirt tool, some rubber collars, and a wire hook. I buy my skirt material from skirts unlimited or Barlows tackle. If you want to learn more just let me know. We can always chat

Jig Tying Vs Jig Bands....
I make my own jigs and skirt the head using a rubber collar with rattle slots and then tie the skirt using 24 gauge floral wire. It really helps make the skirt stand out. Also, if I want to add rattles I then can so I have the best of both worlds.

P-Line C21 Anybody?
I understand that it has a tendency to kink and knot. I fish P-line exclusively but I use the Flurocear green tint and their CXX for top water baits. It's really a tough line with great strength

Pourin Jigs
I get my lead from Rotometals. You can get a high percentage of pure lead very reasonable.

Line Is Breaking Need Some Imput.
I prefer P-Line Fluroclear green tint 10 lb for my crank baits. It's reasonably priced has a low memory and you have the advantages of a flurocarbon type line.

How Should I Pair Up My Gear To Get The Most Out Of It...
If I may suggest that you look at making sure you have the following on hand: Medium Heavy rod for flipping and pitching. This type of rod usually works better with a high speed reel Medium action rod as an all around rod. This actions works well for topwater, senko's, and even jerk bait (but I prefer an extra fast tip for jerk baits). I would match that with a middle of the road speed reel, for example a 6.4:1 Medium light action to be used for tubes, finese, etc. Here again a middle of the road speed reel usually works well (6.4:1) Medium action with a moderate tip for crankbaits. I would get a slow speed reel, preferabley 5.2:1 or slower reel. With these four rods

Broken Lowrance Transducer
I would suggest you double check the availability of the transducer. Lowrance's transducers usually match several units

Pourin Jigs
You need to take some precautions, but it is generally safe. I pour all of my jigs, shakey heads, stand-up jigs, etc. For me it's a great winter time hobby. Let me know if you have any other questions.
