Off Season Storage
I'm not sure I have an answer, but here's what I do. I have all of my soft plastics sorted by type in a zip lock bag. I then store the bags in a tube. All of my crankbaits, jigs, topwaters I have in plastic boxes.

Soft Plastic ?
Confidence is important, but it is also important to understand the baits action as well. Baits manufactured that have identice actions should yield the same results, but those that have subtle differences yield different results. They may have a different fall rate falling action, action when twitched. If you have access to a swimming pool cast the bait into the pool and become an expert with its action with different presentations.

Powder Paint Queestion
By the way it's just their interior latex paint.

Powder Paint Queestion
Actually I go to Lowes or home depot. I'm partial to Lowes because IMO they do a better job matching colors. I then put two cots of urethane on them and it really works well.

Powder Paint Queestion
To put this in the proper context, I've made not only my own jigs for years, I pour my own shaky heads, standup jigs, nose weights, etc. I only use one coat of paint, and a coat of urethane finish. The pint of paint costs me about $7.00, and I prbibly pour 6# of lead a year for not only my jigs, but the various jigs I pour and sell. The pint of paint lasts me about two years, the jig head keeps its paint intact just as good as powder paint, but more importantly, I can virtually match the paint for any jig skirt color, or soft plastic bait. Admittedly, the vast majority of my jig head colors are, green pumpkin, brown, black, red, and a plum color. So for less cost with comparable durability, and a larger variety of colors, in my opinion, this process is better than powder paint.

Powder Paint Queestion
FYi, I paint my jigs with a latex paint ant then put two coats of urethane on them. I find it's easier to match paints to the skirt that way, and the jig is just as durable at powder paint. I go to Lowes and have them mix it paint for me in pint quantities. It's less expensive that powder paint.

Replacing Transom
The resin will waterproof it. The matting for fiberglass is to add strength, you don't need strength you need waterproofing.

St. Croix. Ltb
I'm a st croix and G Loomis guy. I like the Ltb in the MH, but I prefer the IMX if I need a medium action rod with the price being similar

What Set Up Should I Get Next?
I'd suggest a Moderate action rod which you can use to fish both crankbaits and jerkbaits. I'd suggest a 6'6' Medium moderate action.

Yo Zuri Ultra Soft Issue
My guess you may have over filled the spool. I've used Yo Zuri exclusively for a very long time on both baitcaster and spinning reel and I've never had any issue. I suggest you check to make sure you didn't overfill the spool and try again.

Humminbird Or Lowrance?
Slonezp is correct. It's a matter of what fits for you. I hav a Lowrance HDS Gen 2 touch 12 inch on my console and a Gen 2 10 " on my bow. The reason I thought Lwrance fit better for me was the size configuration and what I felt was better definition with the side maying. I'm happy with the units, but I'm sure that if I had to use Hummingbird I'd get along just fine.

Which Application Benefit Most From Bearing Upgrades
In my opinion, flipping benefits from upgrading bearing. The bait free falls better and you get better distance.

Help Needed! Making Soft Plastic Baits
Bearbaiting molds has a good stick bait mold and it's an injected mold. Really all you need is the mold injector, measuring cup, microwave, plastisol, dye, and any glitter you want to use. There are several YouTube videos that go through the steps, it really is simple.

The Best Cheap Flurocarbon
Actually yozuri hybrid or Pline fluroclear. These are two lines that are flurocoated and are very manageable even on spinning gear, while costing less.

Need Some Advice On Rods And Reel Setups Please!!!
IMO Basro rods are inferior. You can get a better rod for about the same money with St. croix, Shimano, and even G Loomis with the GL 2

Need Some Advice On Rods And Reel Setups Please!!!
I would suggest you look at the Johney Morris signature series reel. It costs $100+ less than compairable reels so you get more bang for your buck. For a rod I would look at Shimano Cummara, or St Croix Avid or legend tournament series rods.
