I believe skill trumps luck, but luck plays a major role in my success. I caught my personal best sitting on my kayak looking down at my cellphone holding the rod in the other hand. I guess while I was texting I drug my Texas rigged trickworm over a partially submerged log and a 2-3 lb. bass was sitting there waiting to inhale my bait. The rod was almost gone, but I was able to set the hook and bring it in. I would absolutely call that luck. I'm not very skilled but I get lucky once in awhile.

Panama city sucks dude. Its just a million drunk ppl acting stupid. It was fun as a kid but the older you get the lamer it gets. I vote for Guntersville as well. I have been there yet, but I plan on trying to get up there this year.

There was a similar situation at Lake Seminole yesterday or today. 3 teenage boys went out duck hunting on the Lake and thier boat capsized. 2 of the boys were hospitalized and 1 drowned.

I was wondering if anyone has used this gun before and how you would review it. I'm just getting into hunting again and don't currently own a single gun. I would like to be able to hunt deer,dove,and hog, but "The Boss" is only letting me buy one gun this year. You know priorities and all, so no rifle until next year. I think this is what I'm looking for because versatility is important. Just wondering if anyone could shed more light on this for me.

I have access to a pond I enjoy fishing. I could do it there I suppose. And the guy who owns it is a plumber/electrician, I bet he has some scrap material I could use. I haven't found any cover in it yet. Sounds like a new project!

While we are on the subject,Is it legal to do this in any public water? Did you buy the material or is there somewhere you can focus nd PVC pipe in the trash?
