She made me breakfast every morning at the gas station I stopped in on the way to work. I had a crush on her but was to shy to tell her. She ended up rescuing me from a disaster date one night and let me sleep on her couch because I was to intoxicated to drive home. The next morning we went out for breakfast and I confessed that I had a huge crush on her. That was 5 years ago. We have been together ever since, married for 1 year so far with 2 beautiful girls.

I don't have a thermometer on that boat 00. It was 55° a couple weeks ago so I'll say somewhere between 55-65°.

White 4" sassy shad on a 3/8 oz. white jig head. I was fishing for hybrid at the time. The hybrid can't resist that combination. It was cool to see something new, but the fish basically swam to the boat, not very exciting.

I was surprised when I reeled this guy in yesterday. I have never seen what I have been told is a bowfin in the Chattahoochee river. Is this fish in fact a bowfin? Is it a sport fish, a junk fish or an eater? If some one could give me the down low on bowfin or whatever this fish actually is I would surely appreciate it.

That's an interesting concept Wbeadlescomb. I was thinking of just doing the bragging rights thing like the Florida group does. 5 fish for a month, cull as needed, person with the most accumulated inches wins bragging rights. I only get to fish like once a week so I wouldn't really be in contention in a weekly tournament. I like the idea of throwing in some cash and buying the overall winner a plaque at the end of the season.

The fishing has been kind of slow Basshole. I've caught a couple bass recently, but I'm fishing for hybrid most of the time right now. The hybrid bite is off and on. They are good size and have a ton of fight in them so that makes it worth it in my opinion.

Yea I would like to do the five fish tournament thing. Who all is in? I'm in.

When the river is flooded and I keep losing lures in the newly submerged riprap. This happened to me about 15 times Saturday. When the water goes back down someone is going to hit the jackpot on second hand lures.

I agree Rhino. There isn't one trophy bass out there that wasn't a dink at one time in its life.

I like Ghosts so far. The only problem in having is that I haven't played an FPS in about a year so I can't keep up.

While out fishing today I started wondering, how big does a fish have to be to not be considered a dink anymore?Is it about length or weight? Is there a certain size written in stone, or is this a casual term where the size is based on your individual opinion? In your opinion is the fish in the attached picture a dink? In my opinion its not, but just barely. I consider a fish 2lbs or less to be a dink, that fish was like 2 lbs. 11oz. so he just made the cutoff for me. there is no right or wrong answer as far as I am concerned. I just want to hear everyone's perspective.
