  1. Bkohlman. There is a Club Tourney on at Butler SFL this weekend. Steer clear. I would say McPherson, or Cowley. Both have great water levels right now.
  2. I went out Thursday to Butler SFL and got a single chunk. Wind was WAY more than advertised. Without anchor, my little yak was blew around.
  3. There's a Wendys too. Hahaha
  4. Whos gonna take out a loan at the local butcher tohelp feed!!!! Lol
  5. Im up for whatever as well.
  6. I upgraded my 48" Bars on my Yakima rack to 66" to accommodate 2 yaks side by side. Admit car looks a tad funny, but holds both my kayaks great.
  7. I took away that putting that much stress on such a fragile, and beautiful creature just to have my name on a piece of paper isnt worth it. A C.P.R. with quick release is good enough for me.
  8. Good lord, im glad I'm with retro. Id get ran over in my kayak!!
  9. It didn't survive release. http://www.tulsaworld.com/blogs/sportspost.aspx?/Oklahoma_state_record_largemouth_bass_died__and_thats_OK/37-19493
  10. Ive never had the pleasure of fishing it. TAKING NOTES DILIGENTLY!
  11. I packed up the wife and headed to McPherson SFL. Called for west winds and Mac has hood protection from it. Only got 3 good hours of fishing in, and had 3a solid fish to show. First, 16.5" Solid fish. 2nd cast if the day, Pumpkin Jig and Craw. Followed it all the way back to the yak. When I reeled fast to bring it in, about 2ft from the kayak, she nailed it. 2nd fish was another solid, 17". Came on the "N" Rig, and just felt weight on the line. Both these came in 10FOW. 42-43* water temp. Last one, another "N"Rig fish. Was in 3-4FOW, and just gave a single, tick when she picked it up. If you aint fished Mac, well worth the trip. 1/3 lake has Reeds/Cattails. Coontail moss beds, sunken trees, rock, and even some water willow tossed in for good measure. At 46 acres, it fishes more like a bigger lake.
  12. I think Ill be with retro. As previously mentioned. Double check with him
  13. Ive actually pulled a nice 2.5-3lb LM out of a local pond on Thanksgiving Day. Let alone the 7+ lb Drum at Winfield City Lake. Haha
  14. Lol , HS Oh since Ive learned of it, thats all Ive fished. Haha I made a deal with myself. Only if Im targeting Smallies or Spots, will I fish the Ned. Largemouths, im looking to up my PB. So will be targeting big fish with big frogs, jigs and hard Swimbaits.
  15. Blue is getting a tad c*cky eh? Hahaha. I'll be looking forward to what you got as a secret weapon
  16. Fine fine fine. Just a thought. Shot down like waterfowl the first day of the season. LOL
  17. Lets make it interesting. NO Ned Rig ALLOWED. Thoughts?
  18. Retro, Ill take that seat if the wind is too much. I APPRECIATE it. I'll even get the wife to whip up some cookies just for us. ;-)
  19. Well Im looking to find a boater incase the wind is too much for my kayak. Anyone looking for a 2nd?
  20. Depending on wind, I might need to hitch up with a boater. Hi Salenity, got a free seat bud?
  21. Blue... sounds like you and me should try that lake out this summer....
