I agree with hooah about hooksets are free. But if you are in around wood, that mentality will lighten your tackle box. Setting hooks everytime like that will be a sure way to bury hooks deep into a log.

For me. If I can get it from the local Mom and Pop, I will. The can order anything from BassPro, and have tons of stuff in stock. If I cant get it there, then I go to maker, like Siebert Outdoors or TW.

One thing I learned on glenn's vids is if you think you got bit. Hold your rod at 10 oclock perfectly still with taught line. Let the fish make a move. Feel a tick or line moves, swing for the fences.

I think I orderd the same time as you, FF. Except I got Brush Jigs, and a couple OOMOD Swim Jigs. Had to get Mike to tie up some 1st Gen Mod Storm Series for me as well. I think I've only caught 2 fish on jigs. Both THUMPED it. Good luck on those, hope to see some fat VA greenies!!

Question. A 16' boat trailer, is the trailer 16' or it will haul a 16' boat. If the latter, how long would trailer be?

I was raised in Westminster SC, and still have my Dad that lives there. Im planning a trip to go back and visit him in the beginning of June. I would really like to get out one day and fish. Since I rarely get down there since moving to Kansas. Problem is, wont be able to bring gear with me. All my rods are one piece, and the van will be packed up with my 3 boys and spousal unit. Any chance I could hook up for a day of fishing?

Thinking of the premaid ones out of the butcher section at the grocery store. 80/20 or 85/15. Any leaner than that and they will dry out too much. And like Blue said. Thats very generous of you. Hopefully it will spark some if the goers to pony up a little

Come on people. There are 28 of us signed up to fish, but less than 10 bringing food. Could use another person bringing burgers or dogs, buns, chips, drinks, etc Im bringing 10 burgers, big bag of chips, and cookies. Ouch!!! Thats one reason on my big baits, 65lb braid, no exceptions. Lol It was a tough lake to get a bead on. Gin clear water. 10-14 ft visibility. Ive never fished a lake like that before. 3ft from shore, steep drops. But there are some good cover. Cattails, fallen trees, rock, brushpiles. Hope I get a chance to get back there

Thats how it was Sunday. We was in them for spells. Then died off. Thats the 3rd Double Ive had. First was on a Lunker Punker. It was an expensive day for a friend though. Lost 2 Hudds, 2 BAma Rigs and a Spro jerkbait!!!! I lost 2 Ned Rigs.

Private lake near Wichita. Since it was private, I usesd all 5 hooks. Most my fish was on middle jig. Also had 2, doubles. It was one of those days that makes you think you are ready for the big tourneys. HAHAHAHA Doubt Ill get the chance to fish it again. One of those friend of a friend deals
