  1. Personally, Id hit the north lake. Good size and quantity of fish. Plus no restrictions.
  2. Oh ok. Drew, im gonna be pulling with an Honda Odyssey, just inquiring on your experience.
  3. Curious how it handles it. Pbrussell, garnett south is electric only, but has monster fish.
  4. So who was that pulling a glass boat with a little Mazda FWD?
  5. That's a nice Spot sbfishySC. Hartwell, or Keowee?
  6. St Croix does make a sweet Pearl Avid
  7. Im gonna get my wife a vacuum cleaner. In my will i bequeath ....
  8. Pm sent. Few more days left till the leakdown. Made appt to put a bigger ATF Cooler on the van. What its got is adequate to pull that 1800lb package. But, figured that a bigger capacity couldnt hurt. Now is there a pedestal seat that will use the stock post?
  9. Tying his fingers down to the bone!!!!
  10. Be willing to pay a little more than average NADA for a solid boat?
  11. I floated from Hogs Heaven to Mt Shira access. 4 mile float I think. Russ @ Hog Heaven followed me to drop my car at Mt Shira and took me back to launch from his place. Nice guy.
  12. I was down in April of last year. Still kinda chilly water. Did see many fish in the slower pools. Ive always been told. The fish will either be in the rocking chair or the grocery store. Meaning low current "relaxed" areas. Pools or eddies. Or at the tail end of pools where swift water starts, or beginning of pools where swift water empties.
  13. Pumpkin, Green Pumpkin, Watermelon. I would paddle through swift water, turn around and cast back to the eddies, or pull the lure from the swift water through the current seam to the slack water. It was a awesome day.
  14. Ive only fished the Elk in SW Missouri from a kayak. Tubes and Grubs was on the dinner plate. Put 40 in the yak and one Largemouth that went 19.5"
  15. Great color on that fish!! Great job
  16. I think there is a stretch this week of stability in KC. Caught the weather at Park Lanes in Shawnee last night. High 60s to mid 70s. Oh and I did shoot another 300 last night.
  17. Well went and looked. Im impressed. Little dusty. But in great condition. Almost no paint wore on prop. One small nick on it. Motor looks new. Couldnt find a scratch on the hull. I could tell where the bracing/frame was on the hull. Normal? Humminbird 937c Gps/sonar in bow. 45lb thrust 12v Motorguide. Optima blue top for TM. Setting up appt for leakdown for a week from Sunday. MAN THIS IS DRAWN OUT!!!
  18. Shield is something thats on my list. Along with recessed TM Pedal tray
  19. Thanks FishinTrees, good info there. Exactly what I like reading. As it stands. Meeting 8am in the morning to look. Then probably Wed for the leakdown. Im gonna try to swing it where I can atleast pick up a couple new combos. A dedicated swimbait and Jerkbait setup.
  20. If the Milfoil goes all the way to the surface, it just SCREAMS Hollow Belly Frog. Stopping the frog over the open pockets would be killer. Even a buzzfrog (aka Horny Toad, Rage Toad, Stanley Ribbit) would work well for that slop.
  21. You can flip and pitch on a spinning reel. Just a different process. Definately watch some of BassResource's (Glenn's) vids. Smaller jigs like that might be a bit harder to fish in any kind of current/wind. So you will be limited. If you have any casting gear, step up to some 3/8-5/8 jigs. You always want to be able to feel the jig. If the wind is blowing halfway decent, you won't be able to feel those jigs. Good luck!!
  22. Its called a Personal Best War Injury. Hahahaha
  23. At the moment. The prime suspect is a 06 Lowe Stinger 170. Looks like a great boat through pics Ive seen. Suppose to look at it today. But the seller had something come up. Rescheduling hopefully for saturday.
  24. Nice!!! Shorter rod will keep the tip out of the water on the twitches. I had a longer rod than needed and kept slapping the water with the tip. Heard those RCs are tops too. Gonna pick up a couple myself. Those Rogues I have slightly float. So Ill have to tweak them.
