Zaytas have been said to arrive in October from Mr. Gary Dobyn's himself. 10 Models to chose from ranging from 7' to 7'9". Supposed to blow the DX away which is quite impressive if true.

Mr. Dobyn's is saying Zayta will be released by November this year. They will be the elite of the elite.

I want to see the Chronarch Ci4 and the Lew's spinning tackle. Keep hoping to see a new Dobyn's rod.

I first bought my Dobyns to go with a Team Lew's. I was scared that it may not balance well as my Team Lew's Red was 7oz. and balanced great. The team lew's pro is even better and I am glad I did not second guess myself.

Go to academy and get an ETHOS/H2O Mettle combo. Will spend right at 100 for it and it will suit your needs just fine. Then when you are ready to take it to the next level, we can talk Dobyn's and Team Lew's!

I have a DX744 for pitching plastics. I have a Team Lew's Pro mounted on it and can use it all day without the slightest hesitation. Extremely light, balanced combo.

I have heard promise of the Zeta for years, any idea when it will be released?

DX for me as well. Hard pressed to find a better rod for that money. I got mine 275 new.

Dobyn's DX no question. They are pretty much the elite when it comes to rods. Not saying they are the best as everyone has their opinions, but they are always in the conversation.

What is the typical discount for an outgoing model like the Chronarch E? I would love to have several of them!

Yo-Zuri is as tough as nails and handles much better than Pline. Also pretty dang cheap.

If I am using straight flouro or mono then micro's are ok. If you use any kind of a leader, micros are a pain in the ass.

Wacky Worm as Road Warrior has in his post. ALWAYS gets bit if there is a fish around. Remember that sometimes the fish are just not there. Keep trying as I used to be only a power fisherman, but now I can not stop flipping plastics.

Honestly, I look at the name. Shimano is all you need to know. That said the PQ is a great reel at that price. Hence why I have both. I also have two team lew's that I would not trade. I am with the others though. The more I use my reels the better they feel, and the more in tune I become with them.

I have a chronarch and two PQ's and this is not even a fair fight. The Chronarch blows the PQs out of the water. Not even close.
