I grabbed two, the o ly sizes they had are 6'8 mh f and 6'10 mh f. I didnt grab the 6'10 because it was rated for 3/8 to 1/2 which I thought was really weird. They have them at Sail in Burlington.

Dual Braking is over rated IMO. The Gen 3 Abu line are junk (Terrible quality control), personally i'd get a Curado I or Chronarch 51E.

So a friend and I where talking about braid twisting on a spinning reel. He said it has no effect and its better because even though it does twist, you wont get a foul up on the reel because there's no memory. I on the other hand say that the twist in the braid will weaken the line but he says I'm out to lunch. Are we both right? or both wrong? or one of each?

Do yourself a favor and don't buy a GL2, I bet 90% of the people on this forum would agree. For The $200 mark you can get the New Shimano Crucial or the New St Croix Avid X (Both in the ball park of 6'8-6'10 ML/XF or F), as for reel any 1000 sized Shimano will serve you well. My main DS setup is a TBS610MLXF w/ 1000 Saros paired with 10lb Yellow PP and a 6-8lb leader of Invisx - I can haul in big smallies all day.
