What Technique Specific Or Lure You Catch Your PB On This Year?
Hey Mike, is that white color rage bug really effective for you on a regular basis in terms of numbers of fish? I haven't had a ton of luck on white craws or beavers unless it was a trailer on moving or reaction bait. I know a local hear that throws alot of creatures, and craws in white especially on overcast days and he swears by them. I've been with him punching mats in late August and he took me to the wood shed flipping a white creature bait.

The Road To The Super Bowl 2021
I'm just happy with the way the panthers are going. Such a young team, they lost sooooo much talent before the season got going. And for a young team, they are playing good football. I think they are ahead of schedule. I didn't think we would be 3-2 at this point

I have several brands, I like the gammy, owner and I've been buying the berkley fusion hooks too

What rig is this?
Both swing heads...the top one looks a bit strange... can't tell if it has an egg or just the exposed treble... that treble looks like some type of stinger hook. Weight /head shape looks odd.

Favorite walking bait

Dobyns rods
Although I own a dobyns rod, I wouldn't describe myself as a dobyns guy..but dang man that was one heck of a description and review. I've known you on here for 8 years and you are well respected as member here and a good fisherman, so with that, I give your review more weight than the random ones I see online. Thanks for the info!

Frogging vs Flipping
Goodness gracious! That's a monster

Frogging vs Flipping
Spot on! It's a 1,2 punch for me... that's why all of us have tons of rods on the deck. The goal is to find a bite. So I'm gonna go with the hot hand once I figure it out. It goes way beyond frogs vs flipping, once i narrow the fish down to certain areas, i look at what i do well, vs what is the best ways to cover the water and get to the fish.

Reel for Shallow-Mid Cranking
I have the new zillion sv tw in 6.3:1 it's pretty awesome for shallow and medium cranks. Its probably a mental thing for me, but I dont care for the shallow spool for deep cranks. My deep CRANKING rod has a lews bb1 (o.g.) with 5..4:1.

The good, the bad and the ugly from this morning.
You can actually work it like a frog too, or a spook... but most hits come off of a steady retrieve with a few short bursts

Topwaters- does it get too cold?
I put them away once they stop working... typically around low 50s. Spring of the year tho, ill break them out a little early. It will surprise you. I think @ww2farmer ince said that he starts throwing the frog a couple months ahead of others and it pays off.

The good, the bad and the ugly from this morning.
Just buy one and see if you like it. Use a high speed reel. That's what it takes to get the tail kicking good. It's not horrible, just have to burn it some.

Straight Fluoro for a dropshot?
Only for simplicity and multi purpose use, I use 8 big game. Works well

What's the deal with the new Tatula CT?
It's probably just the slight changes they made for this years model.

Should I go fishing? Conflicted on this one,
I know you already went fishing and in late to the party, but this is the time of year that you want to be in the water, for several reasons. First off, it's less crowded with guys going hunting, the kids and vacationers are off the water so there's less boat traffic. The fish are probably scattered and chasing bait which can be tough be it forces you to really search and use different techniques. I learn something everytime I go, but the fall is the best time for me before it gets too dang cold too really learn your lake and the fish pattern

No. I had some family stuff that I had to attend...and honestly, I was leaving on a good note...so, I was ok with it Dude.... I want one... it's one of the top things left to do.. my god son, who is in the military has one on his boat, he even offered to show me how to edit videos and post them. I would like to record my trips both for me to review and to post a couple tutorials on the things that I think I do well.

Anybody Got Purchase Plans Over Winter?
If I can swing it, I'd like to upgrade my boat. Probably not brand new, but if I can find a late model Gambler, Ranger, or Bass cat in the 20 foot range with a 225 or 250. But if not, km gonna upgrade the electronics and get a shallow water anchor system. I'd like to have a couple of 12 inch monitors and add some lights to to inside of compartments. Probably about due for a new set of batteries. If I keep my boat, I'm gonna put new tires on the trailer and probably paint the trailer. We shall see what kinda boats I find out there and what I can get for mine before I do anything. I had my motor rebuilt 3 years ago, so it's good to go. It runs like a scalded dog.

Trouble with jackal grinch
It just stinks because it was drawing strikes, and i like that i can stop it and fish it like a frog and i can throw it and skip it into tight spots that I can't do with a walking bait. There has to be a way to mod it, I'm gonna keep playing with how I bend the hooks out a hair and pull the out horizontally a bit. Also gonna sharpen those hooks and try it again tmw.

Trouble with jackal grinch
Man, this thing draws bites and big bites... but hook up ratio has been straight up terrible. I probably only put 10-15% of blow ups in the boat. Threw it today on two different rods... powell 735 frog rod.. and tried on powell 723 .. caught one each on them... neither one had an advantage of the other. I like it on the frog rod.. What's y'alls experience with this bait? Any mods that I can do? I pulled the hooks up a little

Square Bill Crank Baits In Clear Water ?
Duuuuuuuude, @ChrisD46 they are killer in clear water, just match the hatch. I've been super successful with them especially around heavy cover where people are afraid to throw them
-
Flat sided cranks
Not so much a cold water deal for me, it's a turned off bite, post front, or finesse deal for me... they tend to have tighter wiggle. They are a year round starter/ flex player for me. I just restocked on a lot of the discontinued ones from the storm arashi line up

Brutal bite right now, anyone else?
It's been tough here for the past month...until today. I went out yesterday after work at 5PM and really just rode and looked st the graph... this morning the bass were on fire.. most 2 and 3 pounders but i got a 6.8 and two 4s. I had to find big pods of bait and work behind them in a sense at the first drop behind them... I seen huge pods of bass on that first drop behind them on the bottom...found then in the first 1/4 mile of a big creek off of the main lake on the north side...which is weird for this time of year. Follow the bait. They will lead you to them. I caught 43 green bass today and handful of striper..simply by finding shad and stay on that
