I feel like length does improve leverage but iif you are of small stature then a shorter rod would obviously be more comfortable. Remember length is a preference not a requirement. Alot of guys pitch and flip with 7' rods. I cant suggest a length for you that is personal decison. Power and action depend on what you are using as a lure, weight of lure, and how thick the water iis that u plan on flipping and pitching to. MH, or H is a place to start. Fast action is a good action for pitching jigs and soft soft plastics. See if any of your friends have a 7' rod that u take for a test drive.

Not a craw but i have used zoom horny toads in white as a trailer for jigs that i swim or just work at a fast pace. Good results

We have seen Co-MVPs before, I'd say make them both co MVPs and co - comeback player of the year. That's is highly unlikely but I'd rather see that than them give both awards to manning.

Peterson is not human. I think he is Supermans second cousin. Seriously, Peterson did something that is unheard of. He carried his team on his back and other teams lined 8,9, and sometimes 10 guys near the line of scrimmage because they knew the Viking were gonna run the ball and he still broke the 2000 yard mark. Peterson is the NFL MVP in my book. I know a lot of people are going to say Manning, Brady, and JJ Watt and whoever else but all of those guys had great supporting casts.

Every pair I own has a soft strap on it. It doesn't matter whether they were 5 bucks or 180..they all get a strap and they are either on my face or hanging around my neck. I've had too many nice pair fall off my head while on the water. I imagine there are a few catfish in Kerr Lake sporting Oakleys.

Different scenario than you, short story, he had diabetes and then got sick ( with pneumonia) and refused to go to a doctor. Our youngest brother found him passed away in his house. Don't put your folks through that. Not trying to scare you but my heart aches every day because he didn't take his butt to the doctor. What's a short visit to the doctor..

I would say Rick Clunn. He's a super smart fisherman, a good teacher, and he is known for his mental approach to fishing. That's an area where I could improve. My close number two is Gerald Swindle. His style is much like mine and he is one of the funniest guys to ever get in a boat! That would be a lot of fun. Shaw and Denny are next. They are just legends. I notice nobody answered with KVD. Last fall, my two year old was on the boat with me and was playing my storage while I was fishing. He found a 1/4 oz PopR and begged me to put it on his Snoopy rod. I casted it out for him. He started to reel and a fish came up and knock the devil out of it. I got the rod from him and put the fish in the boat. 13" bass for a child that had just turned two isn't bad for a first fish. Yes, we got him a replica mount. Snoopy rods are a beast. Lol
