  1. i feel pretty pathetic saying that i've seen a lot of freakin' movies, but never seen one of the star wars movies... i need to get my life on track.
  2. i'm pretty partial to the panther martin inline spinner. Black with yellow spots, gold blade 1/8oz. That is the "12 gauge" of lures, will basically hit everything in one shot. thinking the senko/plastic worm is the obvious #2 for me
  3. Got my order in from Siebert and they look as good as usual! Picked up 9 dockrocker jigs, a swim jig and some sway jigs. Top quality as always and that Owner deep throat hook is the real deal. Thanks Mike!
  4. Agreed! Caught a nice one a while back on the drop. Have to be paying attention with this bait!!
  5. seen my dad catch bluegill with chewing tobacco
  6. i find that it hangs up less than the traditional bladed jig too... i like them quite a bit
  7. running to the beauty store now for pink nail polish.... got a lot of hooks to paint pink!
  8. i was wondering why she didn't just edit the sound out? bet she had a granola bar in the hatch and that bear was just hungry....
  9. Thanks guys. I'm obviously overdoing it....
  10. Looking to try out some Sunline Sniper on my jig and worm rods. I have it already spooled up on my jig rod with some 20lb test and like what i've seen so far from just casting around the house. My question is for the other rod which is primarily t rig worms/plastics, what lb test would be best? Should i use the same 20lb I already have or step down to something like 16 or so? Just looking for some opinions. Thanks.
  11. healthy looking fish!!
  12. There isn't a month that i don't fish, for bass, so these terms of season and next year confuse me.....
  13. I don't throw a lot of these big baits mentioned so for me it's a spook type bait or spinnerbaits
  14. Nice reel man. Almost like it incorporates a little something from a few of their recent feels. I like my 4 pflueger spinning reels I have.
  15. i married too soon......
  16. thanks for the review there A jay!
  17. Anybody use the twin spin spinnerbaits and if so, what are your thoughts on them vs a conventional spinnerbait with the single arm? i've seen a number of the twin spin terminators on sale around and have thought about giving them a shot, but wondering if anybody here has any experience to share. thanks!
  18. a couple? you need to learn how to count cap'n!! nice collection there!
  19. nice fishing clayton! your bass boat is going to feel neglected before too long... you'll get mad about putting gas in and maintaining the boat and all that! by the way, who in their right mind would fish some ugly looking bladed jig as that thing? it looks like some god awful duke, kentucky, kansas blue!!! probably ticks the fish off and that's why they crush it! also, you fishing that palmetto bug on a swinging jig head?
  20. i have the 4xhdi model on my ride 135 and it does pretty well. but i have to admit i barely if ever use the down imaging, so i don't know that it's really worth the extra coin. my buddy has an elite 7 on his predator and his down imaging is light years better than mine! i think you would do just fine with that 3x for $99. how you end up mounting the transducer is likely to have the biggest effect on the readings. any thoughts yet on how you'll mount the transducer?
  21. keep your eyes on the flea market forum. sounds like you essentially have about a $35 budget... for that much you can find some decent lures pop up on here from time to time. like deep, i don't pay full retail if possible. lucky craft pointers, and rapala floaters are my favorites that can be found in your price range if you look.
  22. nice fish there man!!
  23. i see a lot of bass on the beds here in Middle GA around september ..... just interesting timing on the first post. aldo, curious of the 100+ lunkers you've caught, how many came from ponds vs the lakes/reservoirs in GA?
  24. i find spotted bass put up more of a fight than largemouth and smallies fight more than spots.... not sure on weights or sizes, but these are my experiences
