Keitech Impacts
Yeah I really wanted the 4.8 size but they only had mass amounts of the 3.8. I grabbed bluegill flash to try out. I'll have to get some mend it. Correction just ordered some mend it.

Keitech Impacts
So I finally was able to pick some of these up. Sadly they only had 1 size of each kind but I'll have to make due. Grabbed some 3.8 fat and 4" regular in bluegill flash. How do you prefer to fish them... Weightless T rig or weighted swimbait hook? What weight do you prefer and I'm guessing a 3/0 or 4/0 hook. Thanks in advance BR.

Need A New Reel To Balance My 7'6 Xh Duckett
On a rod that long you are going to have to add weight at the very end of the butt. The reel isn't going to have 'much' affect on the balance point. About a finger width really. Beware that when adding any weight to a rod you are decreasing sensitivity. The rubber chair cap with quarters or washers will be the easiest method. Just know that it may take 2-4oz to balance out the rod so it's not tip heavy. It's heavier overall but feels lighter in your hand while fishing.

Powell Diesel Vs. Denali Jadewood
I had 3 Diesels. I'm down to 1 and it never gets used. I have a Jadewood cranking rod that is super light and a Jadewood 7'6 H flippin stick.

How Can I Polish Clear Lips On Crankbaits/jerkbaits
There's a product by Meguiars called plastx that's a cleaner/polish made specifically for plastic. Also scratch X works too.

Powell Diesel Vs. Denali Jadewood
It's not even a question. Jadewood all the way.

Powell Or Dobyns
I haven't had a chance to own a Dobyns yet. There is a ton of support for them on this board which tells you that they are great rods. I do own some Powell Endurance rods though. For the money it's an awesome rod. The balance is incredible. Doesn't matter if it's a 5.5oz reel or 7.9oz. It still has a neutral balance point. I weighed a 723 the other day and it's 5.5oz on the scale. Either is a good choice.

Daiwa Zillion
Grab a td-100m spool for it now. It was a great improvement to an already great reel. Boca orange seals are another good upgrade for it.

Kds Cranks
I have a few of them. The airbrush jobs are nice and seem to hold up quite well. I have one in a bluegill pattern and it's seen the water a lot. The hooks are small so I recommend upgrading them.

Daiwa Tatula Bait Cast Reel
On my powell endurance 723 it balances right at the reel seat nut with a tatula. The rod feels like nothing when in your hand. It's so neutrally balanced. Perfect for tip up techniques like worms and jigs. Best advice is to take your new reel and mount it on the rods you are debating on buying. See which one feels the best in your hand. Also that ratio is good for an all purpose setup. Not optimal for some but will do them just fine.

Daiwa Tatula Bait Cast Reel
That's a great budget for a rod. 6:3:1 would be a good worm and jig reel. Dobyns has a good reputation for awesome rods.

Daiwa Tatula Bait Cast Reel
Depends on the gear ratio for me really. Is it the 6:3:1 or 7:3:1? I like a higher ratio for techniques that require you to take up slack line quicker. As for a rod. What's your budget? The tatula rod is a great match for it.

Transducer Mounting Location
Yeah I understand that. I'll be selling this boat here soon for a newer one. This is just to get me by until then.

Quality Mh - Moderate Or Moderate Fast Rod Under $100
I read them when I signed up but don't recall anything like that. I also just looked back over them. Didn't see that. So if you are on company X pro staff or field staff, you have to disclose that if you recommend one of their products?

Quality Mh - Moderate Or Moderate Fast Rod Under $100
I understand you have to promote for your staff position with Denali but recommending a rod by them and also letting people know you are on their promotional staff makes it lose a little merrit. This is just my opinion. It's like kvd telling me quantum reels are the best on the market. I already said it on the first page but I have the 7' med/mod Jadewood and it's a nice rod.

Transducer Mounting Location
So I should move it to where the other bracket is in the picture down by the drain hole? Or just down from where it's at now?

Wayne I'm not as much concerned with higher speeds. Idle is basically what I'm looking for. I saw that too Dave.

Transducer Mounting Location
Where I have it mounted now it seems to get a funky on me when I come to a stop at where I want to fish. Should I move it down to the lower portion? There was one at each spot when I bought the boat. I used this location because the holes lined up. Thanks in advance. Unit is a Lowrance mark 5x pro

Quality Mh - Moderate Or Moderate Fast Rod Under $100
Denali Jadewood 7' med/mod 1/4-5/8 $99 I just got one last week. It's so darn light, even with a 7.9oz reel on it. Also the balance point is right on the reel seat nut. It's so nuetral in your hand.

Tatula Bearing Upgrade
It makes casting the same distance as before take less effort. Also makes pitching easier with the faster start up of the spool. That can also be said for lighter baits too.
