I would love to go fishing today but this weather is terrible. It's raining all day and in the 40's. out of all the days this week, my off day is the coldest and nastiest. Anyhow, just venting. Hope the rest of you catch a bunch!

Bristol Was A Snoozer
NASCAR offended me when they brought in Toyota. FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!? A TOYOTA!? "Let me tell ya something Junior...when I nail this 2.4 L four cylinder to floor, we're gonna blow his doors off. Tighten yer seatbelt. One, two, three!..." No, you've never heard that. Ever. That's what get's me about NASCAR these days.

Espn The King Of Raider Haters
I'm not a Raiders fan but I'll pull for them if they are playing because you guys have a former Razorback in Darren McFadden. He was a beast in college but it seems like he is always hurt. Hope you guys have a good upcoming season.

Lake Ouachita
I told you my buddy said throw a spinnerbait today if the wind is blowing, if not go to a Zoom Speed Craw or 4" lizard. Haven't heard back to see if he had any luck. Should know tomorrow.

That's it! I'm switching to F1! If only the World of Outlaws could get prime-time Sunday afternoon TV slots...

Bristol Was A Snoozer
The 48 team doesn't like Bristol. Everytime I've watched I remember Jimmie nailing the wall. I did meet Chad Knaus at a movie theatre standing in line to get popcorn at Bristol one year. He's a cool dude. Spoke for a couple of minutes and went on his way. How about Denny Hamlin though!? That was a dreadful last 10 laps to watch him race around. He could NOT stay off the wall.

Bristol Was A Snoozer
You're right. Most of the race or wrecks were determined by tire failure. It's still not as bad as that Brickyard race a few years ago where Goodyear brought a tire that wouldn't last past 10 laps. I'd still go to Bristol just for the experience. You can and will find tickets. By the way, $25 for a ticket in Michigan? It's well worth that. I've paid 4 times that for tickets before.

Bristol Was A Snoozer
I guess I just had high expectations of see big wrecks and bigger tempers flare. Maybe it wasn't that bad but I expected more. I guess the wreck at Daytona in Nationwide this year was more than enough to last the entire year. Speaking of, the Nationwide race at Bristol was much better than Sunday's race for me. That Kyle Larsen kid was running down Kyle Busch and banged off his doors on the last lap. That was what I liked!

High-Vis Line And A Marker?
Black sharpie? Can you tell any difference in the number of fish you catch with high vis versus low vis?

Bristol Was A Snoozer
Let's see how many redneck friends I have on here that share a love for NASCAR. Anyhow, the Bristol race was a snoozer for me. Not as much bent sheet metal as I'd like. I've been there several times but glad I wasn't there Sunday. I thought Joey Lagano's attempt to get "tough" with ex-teammate Hamlin was humorous at best. I'm pretty sure Hamlin could take him. With all of that said, I'm still pretty sure Bristol is/was better than the race to come at California this week. My prediction is it will be follow-the-leader. My two cents.

High-Vis Line And A Marker?
Apparently not too many people do this. Makes me wonder...

Lake Ouachita
Most recent report shows temps 50-54. Jigs, A-rigs and large spinnerbaits around brush, moss and timber.

High-Vis Line And A Marker?
I saw a pro on one of the numerous fishing shows aired over the last few years spool up some high vis yellow line then take a magic marker or some type and color the line from the hook about the length of the rod. He said this allows you to see the line at the surface and creates low visibility near your bait. Anyone ever try this? Seemed like a smart idea for watching your line run.

Revo S Or Revo Sx
I have several S models and like them. One model I got that I am thoroughly impressed with is the Orra SX. It's a heck of a reel and a little cheaper. I returned a Revo SX. Just like the S better.

Where Do You Draw The Line With Wind?
I have a 17' 6" Aluminum bass boat. I fish a 40,000+ acre lake. I stay home anything 15+ mph. White capping and big swells are no fun on my lake. I figure "in like a lion, out like a lamb" for this time of year. I know there will be days this summer when I'm just praying for a 5mph gust to cool me off. My two cents.

First Boat, Tracker
HOLY COW! Would you please teach the rest of the dead-beats of America what work ethic is? Kudos for your hard work and realizing it at such a young age.

Prop Question. Which Direction It Spins?
Ah ha!!! So, oh Wise Wayne, you're saying I have my pick of left or right and that I could mount it on that stair stepped part of my hull? That's how Tracker did the original. Humminbird instructions are talking about 15 inches from the prop, yatta yatta yatta....

Do Ram Mounts Not Come With Mounting Bolts Or Screws?
Makes sense. I emailed them to ask them what bolts they would recommend. I'll make a trip to Home Depot and find something. As far as mounting I shouldn't have any problems. There is a plastic console on my aluminum boat and plenty of empty space below it, so I won't hit anything. Just need to get me some fasteners.

Do Ram Mounts Not Come With Mounting Bolts Or Screws?
If you don't mind me asking, what diameter nuts and bolts did you use?
