Do You Worry About Exposure To Lead?
It sure is deadly on deer. And outside of the nervous ticks and slight mutation, I'm doing fine.

Ain't Work Grand....
I'd say average for me is 60 but it can always be more than that. And at 60 hours I'm spent. No mas. But I like the money. I hope everyone gets some much needed time off to recharge the batteries. There's no better way to do so than fishing.

Sd Card Question. New To Electronics.
Ok. I haven't got that far into the electronics game. I guess as I progress with the Humminbird maybe I'll see a greater need for the navionics. Right now I just want to get out on the water more than anything. I would give anything to throw a Senko in the water right now.

New Competition For Basspro And Cabelas?
I'm lucky. They are building a BassPro just 10 minutes away from my house. We are a rural state but they picked a major interstate interchange for the location. Every week I drive by and see more progress to my heart's delight. In the past I had to drive to Memphis, Shreveport or Branson/Springfield.

40's And Rain!!!
Central AR is no better. Gusts up to 40 mph. Good day to be on BassResource! My boat cover looks like an inflatable yard ornament.

Sd Card Question. New To Electronics.
Yeah, I was trying to go off of, no pun intended, memory on that model. Basically, I would need an SD card for exporting my waypoints? Makes sense. I look forward to this capability. I'm not saying waypoints will make me an instant success but I do think they will help me become better at locating fish.

Now A Believer In Spook...sorta
I have to say I too was intimidated but I think that comes with anything you do that is unfamiliar. It only took one fishing trip for me and I was hooked. The right gear helps too. Once you get that rhythm it's on.

What is recording sonar? I follow you on the rest of the stuff.

Now A Believer In Spook...sorta
I have Zara puppies but I always use a Spook Jr. I always keep the same fast cadence back to the boat, constantly working it. On breaking fish just hit them in the head with it and they'll bite it before you can turn the handle. I wouldn't shy away from larger spooks and those One Knockers are good too. Sometimes a bass will nail it but keep working it and he'll come back. Let them take it and don't rip it out of his mouth.

40's And Rain!!!
You dudes in snowland should be shooting something furry not fishing. Aren't there any coyotes that need a .22-250 in y'alls woods?

Has Anyone Claimed Their "free" Spool Of Tuf-Line?
I've been seeing a banner at the top for a free spool of Tuf-line braid. Has anyone followed through? 100 yards for $4.99 sounds good. 6-8 weeks for delivery.

Sd Card Question. New To Electronics.
My Humminbird allows me to store waypoints. I have not used this feature yet. Do I need an SD card and if so, is it the standard type? Also, what would be the recommended storage file size? I believe it's a 587iHD DS Also, would it be to my advantage to get an SD card with a map already saved? If so what brand would you recommend?

I'm going to invest in some cold weather gear for fishing that is waterproof.

Would You Call In Sick To Go Fishing?
Guess I'm in the minority here. There's no such thing as a sick day where I work. And I don't see my employer taking it too well either if he caught me 1) lying 2) not showing up. I'll save fishing for my scheduled off days.

Just A Quick Newbie Observation
I wouldn't get discouraged. There's a ton of conversations that are way over my head! But I do learn a lot of useful stuff. Like guys using split shots for bass fishing. I used to think you only used those with crickets when fishing for bream!
