I agree the rods are not that sensitive.. But I bought 2 brand new never used for $100 couldn't pass it up.. I have been using 1 for chatterbaits and one for buzzbaits.

Yeah I have one 2.0 micro 7' MHF has a lure rating 1/4 to 1oz you should be good with that rod

Green Lens is the best lense for every day, driving, and inshore fishing. People who are used to the blue lens fines that the green lens lets in to much light.. You can wear the green lens longer in your day since the blue is darker. If your saying the silver lens lets in more light than the green I personallly wouldn't want them.. I find the greens perfect. Make every thing look way better. Definitely get 580g i did plenty of research before my purchase and talked to a costa rep .

For some reason on overcast days I have the most success with red bug.. but I also like greenpumkin and June bug definitely black top water

KVD line & Lure does wonders against the skirt sticking.. Only problem I have is the solid white will turn a slightly off white.. But still catches fish..

Im throwing rubber 98% of the time.. For some reason that's what works best for me where I live...when talking about spinnerbaits If it's not a Humdinger or Rumba Doll I'm probably not throwing it

Fishing shallow? 3-4 foot with plenty of structure? You can't beat Humdinger spinnerbaits 1/4 oz chartreuse white and blue skirt . The skirts are made of rubber.. All white and chartreuse and white are also good colors.. No affiliation with humdinger they just flat out catch fish all year long and are cheap

Every since I started using them i haven't had any rust issues.. I put them in all my boxes... I think I paid around 3 or 4 bucks for like 300 of them off of e bay..

I prefer my Punching rod to be heavy or XH Mod-Fast but texas rigs with 1/4 oz or less weight I prefer fast. With that being said I fish with guys that prefer the opposite of me... Like you fellas sad its all about personal preference... @Mosster47 I am 99% sure that bubs punch rod is MOD-Fast.. I should have bought that one but at the time I went with a 7'6" instead of the Bubs 7'11''

I have one... Very versatile rod... Has more of a parabolic bend.. I think the best use for it is traps and square bills...

I don't c rig often but when I do and when I had sucess is with a trick work, finesse worm or fluke.. some one previously posted about about the speed tail worm.. That has my wheels turning now because one of my confidence baits is a rate cut-r worm..

Lol I bought some on sale at academy ..Since I never used them I bought the same colors i use to catch fish when fishing with a kVD 1.5 or bandit.. So far I haven't caught a fish on the arashi.. I have cut the arashi off and put a 1.5 on the same color and caught fish... Pretty much killed my confidence... Let us know if you have better luck!
