Looking into sunglasses
Yep!! but before you purchase I would go some were and try different frames on and see which one fits and looks the best on you.. Pretty big investment to have glasses that cost over 250.. Make sure you like them..if you get the green 580g I will tell you this, it will be hard for you to go outside with out them lol. they make every thing look better.. From scenic views, to paint on cars to fiberglass boats, everything looks better

Lily Pads
Stanley ribbit!!! When the sun gets up and top water slows down I would go with a cut-r worm with a 1/8 pegged tungsten bouncing it on top the Lilly's and then let it fall in the holes.. If that's not working I would go with a weightless super fluke or a 1/4oz swim jig

Rod/Reel for shallow Cranking
This was my except set up..except a SS tourney.. I broke another Om3n (my fault) so right now I'm using a 6'8" MHF ghost with a quantum smoke 5:4.1...

Rod/Reel for shallow Cranking
Most People say use a 6 for square bills.. I was using a 6 for the longest but decided to try a 5:4.1 with the spool all the way full and have been having more sucess. I felt like I was always burning it with the 6.3... I like the cabelas rods but I would find one shorter ..6'6 to 6'8" for shallow cranks... Accuracy is a critical when throwing cranks into.shallow wood . Just a sugestion.. I'm still trying to find the "perfect" square bill set up.

Need Advice On Some New Gear
3 rods for your situation i would say 1. 7' MH/ F - 7.1 gear ratio probably your most versatile set up... Jigs, soft plastics, buzz frogs, but can basically throw anything you want 2. 7' MH / F - 6.3 ratio another very versital combo... Spinner baits, chatter baits, cranks 3. 6'6" to 6'8" medium - moderate to moderate fast- 6.3 ratio here's a good shallow crank bait rod but you can throw weightless flukes, small spinnerbaits or what ever you want 7'6" rods are a great tool to have but can see where that may be a hassle when your bank fishing... Btw I live in Baton Rouge but my best friend lives in New Orleans so I'm there once a month or so.. Been wanting to try to fish where your fishing

Why Large Outboard?
My boat does 63.. When I first got it I thought I would never go that fast.. Now that I had it for a few months, there have been times when I wish i could go faster.. Especially in tournaments.. I'm super happy with it but My next one will have a bigger motor.

Shallow Water Near Bank Si/di/structure Scan
How about depth of the side view.. Can you tell that? I see you can see 50 foot on each side Or a 100 on each side or what ever but can you see the depth change say from 5 foot from the bank to 10 foot? Thanks for all the information!

Shallow Water Near Bank Si/di/structure Scan
Thanks Wayne.. Your the man.. Been reading all of your stuff and learning a lot... Do you have any screen shots of trees near the bank or shore.. Or even of the actual shore maybe 20 or so feet from the boat? I'm willing to invest in a good side imaging unit if it will help me
