  3. I give my wife a gun every year on our anniversary.
  4. Despise the band, love the album.
  5. Guys, when you're throwing deep cranks, you want a rod that is long. You need all the distance you can get so as to keep that crank in the strike zone longer. Throwing DD22's or any other deep diver with a 7' rod will wear you out in less than an hour, never mind throwing them all day.
  6. IMO the 565 is the best 'cheap' graph you can buy. One night on my friend's boat with the 565 was enough to convince me of that.
  7. Operating a Bic in windy conditions. 8-)
  8. Five, no more than six.
  9. Did you let the local kindergarteners do those paint jobs? ;D
  10. Don't know which is funnier, that quote or the bait he was throwing.

  13. When I drank, it was either Glenlivet, Wild Turkey 101, or Glenfiddich 12 year.
  14. JDM reels rarely translate to the US market.
  15. Were you fishing in VA? If so, did you measure and document the length with photos? If so, that is a citation size fish for VA. http://www.dgif.virginia.gov/fishing/trophy/sizechart.asp
  16. Kids Day 08 will be held at Wise Reservoir on Saturday May 24. Registration will begin at 7AM in the picnic shelter. Fishing will begin at 9AM. Prizes will be awarded in the following age groups. 4-6 7-9 10-12 13-16 Everyone 16 and below will be able to fish the entire day without a reservoir license. We had over 300 kids last year and gave away over $5000 worth of prizes. Food City supplied food and drink for everyone.
  17. It will happen, junk science will be sure of that. Look at the lead bans to see the future.
  18. How many people knew or paid attention to maximum drag tension before Abu started throwing those numbers up? It wasn't an issue. WOW, how did anyone ever catch fish before Garcia's super-duper flash bang drag? : It is quite laughable. Then again, perfect for the crowd that thinks more of anything (e.g. bearings) equals better. :-X
  19. All a warranty does is sell you a guaranteed piece of crap (there's a reason Dodge has such a long warranty). FWIW, I would wait until those 08 Tundras hit the market. Or look at a Ford F150. I love Toyota vehicles, but the Tundra I drove didn't feel like a truck. Send TheBeast a PM about the Tundra's frame, he installs hitches on the things weekly. His comments to me about the Tundra vs. the Chevy or Ford half-ton have not been favorable. If I were buying right now, I would look long and hard at the Chevy Silverado. And while I drive a bowtie daily, I'm not much of a Chevy man.
  20. How so? You take that chance every time you buy a durable good. This situation is quite normal in the golf world. Club companies release a new line every two to three years in order to maintain their bottom line. IMO there were two companies that really resisted that line of thinking. Shimano and Ping. Ping started shifting to the flavor of the year line around 02, I'm surprised Shimano has lasted this long. While making a quality product is first and foremost, a manufacturer of durable goods must also consider repeat business. If you're standing pat on your product line, your market share will eventually dry up.
  21. CXX bends Trilene XT over and makes her his *****.
