I bought that exact model this week after looking forever. Two BPS's didn't have it. I had been keeping all of my spinnerbaits in one of the Plano square boxes. I pretty much had to carry an extra bag just for the spinnerbait box. The 3704 will hold more than it says and does a good job of it.

If Kevin has a day like he had today, nobody will catch him. I was very surprised when he pulled those two bigguns out of his livewell at the weigh-in. Tomorrow might be a tough day with a front moving through tonight.

BPS is having a killer sale on their Extreme combos. $70 if memory serves. I played with a few of the combos last weekend and liked them. The rods are usually $100, reels $60.

Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter...it's all good. Seriously, most stores usually have their clearance sales in late winter (which is to say NOW).

Got a Do-It RHB 8-18 and a Hot Pot 2 last weekend at BPS. My friend found some lead and away we went. This is the first batch. 1/8 oz. on 2/0 Eagle Claw 570 hooks. Had some trouble getting complete pours. We would usually get 4 or 5 good heads out of each batch of 8. Most had incomplete collars. Don't know if that was due to the lead (old round balls) or just my inexperience. This was my first time using the ProTec as well. I need to make a small rack for hanging after I dip. Just laid those on the counter and you can see the result. Directions say to cure in a 350* oven for 15-20 minutes. Didn't have access to an oven that hot (at work), so I used a 105*C oven for 2 hours. This whole tackle craft thing could get very addictive.

That's enough reason to put a hole through his lower unit with a G20. >

I was under the impression that they were going to do some live stuff after they aired the day 1 highlights. Good thing I caught it before the DVR kicked in for the second showing. Makes absolutely no sense whatsoever to show the exact same piece back to back.

No. At most a pool will contain 2-3 mg/L of free Cl2. No more than normal tap water (supposed to have a total residual of around 1 mg/L). Chlorine is an oxidizer, but it takes levels much higher than that to damage something.

All algae needs to grow is sunlight and a sufficient substrate. Throw a piece of PVC in the back of a cove and retreive it a week later. It will be covered in algae and slime.

No more so than the junk in a normal river.

Same thing happened to me...sort of. I smoked for 7 or 8 years. Decided I wanted to quit, so I quit. Didn't have a smoke for 3 years. Then got a new co-worker who smoked like a freight train. After being around him once a week for a couple of years, he wore me down. I know I need to quit, but until I really get the urge to quit, I won't. Actually wanting to quit is the only way you will ever kick the stuff.
