Funny you picked this up. I saw GM stock at $19/share while back. TD Ameritrade listed them as paying 9% dividends, so I bought some. April, and CV-19 came around I got an email saying GM suspended their dividend payment. Mary Barra, GM's CEO, made $21.x million in 2019. Anyone think her package will be lower for 2020? Either way, I doubt I'll lose after buying GM, and hope they bring back their dividends next year.

Yes, it's slow going. A friend of mine who's also registering his new boat received an email from the EPO saying his application package is being returned to him because he wrote a check and filled out the ST-6 form by hand. Mass EPO wants the sales tax paid on line and the proof of payment included in the application package. I filled my form out the same way and assume my application package will return to me as well. Both our boats are insured and trailers registered. I hope I can get in the water by 01 September. C'est La Vie...

I got the Lowrances installed. All I need now is the boat registration... which is out of my hands and the Environmental Police stations where you register boats in MA, are closed, with only a recorded message on the phone line.

Mr. Aquarium STRIKES AGAIN! Thanks! Registering the trailer on 8/6 and waiting on the great Commonwealth to mail back the boat registration... (insert crickets here...). Tomorrow's project is flushing an Elite TI2 7" in the dash and installing the same in 9" on the bow, along with networking the units and integrating the Yamaha's data in the mix.

I give another vote for Diawa's Ardito casting rod. I have a 7' M/F. It's rated 1/4 to 3/4 oz., so throwing smaller jigs and soft swimbaits is no problem. Overall, a great rod. I also have an Okuma 7'2" ML/F spinning rod too. Both come with semi-hard tube cases. I keep them in my truck for those 'hey, I'll stop here for a few' trips. When I was on the bank, I used a Spider Wire fishing backpack that has two rod holders. I kept it simple with two piece rods, and never had problem hiking or riding my MTB through the woods.

Wifey and I took off to NH for the weekend with the kayaks. We did the tourist thing Sat & Sun, and fished on Monday, stopping at a small pond in Oliverian, NH, that we tripped across by accident. It had a boat ramp that wasn't maintained in years, and tons of crayfish around shoreline rocks. I caught a small rainbow on a chartreuse ghost shad LV500 in short order, then nothing. This pond was pretty shallow, 8' at most, and wasn't more than 20 acres, so catching a rainbow in 4' or 80+ degree water in July was a trip. A local having his lunch at the launch said there were only rainbow & browns there. We took backroads home through NH and when I saw a sign for car-top boat launch along the Merrimack river somewhere north of Concord, I hooked a left and fished for about an hour. The launch was on a bend that got to 14' deep and had rocks and grass around it. I bagged a SMB that was barely bigger than the 3.5" Swing Impact I was throwing. Water temps here were in the low 80's too. Winds were slight, and the air pressure was 29.7. It's been me and the crickets here for the last couple weeks! Hope everyone else is getting out there this summer.

You must have gotten one built on a Friday before a holiday. Bummer. I’m on my 3rd Toyota truck, 1 Taco and 2 Tundras, and totaled 500+ K miles on them with no mechanical/electrical issues. My Taco fell under Toyota’s frame recall. They paid me $13K to take it from me. I like Dodge trucks mechanically, but everyone I know with one has rust problems.

You’re off to a good start! I have roughly 30 total rods & reels of various brands. I mix and match my combos based on the water I’m fishing. My ‘go to’ baitcast setup is a 7’ MH/F Kistler KLX with a 7.3:1 Concept C and for spinning, a 6’9” Abu Garcia Veracity ML/F with a Pflueger Supreme XT.

For 2020, 3.8” Fat Swing Impact.

I have your reel. I switch it off between a 6’6” M/F Veritas for smaller topwaters and a 7’ M/F Kistler Magnesium2 for 4” Senkos and other lighter plastics. It does a great job for either application. Best of luck with your choice!

I power my Lowrance Hook5 with my Milwaukee M12-XC 6.0 battery in a pelican box using the quick disconnect from a Battery Tender. It weighs almost nothing and I get roughly two days out of a full charge. I can’t say you’ll get that with your 93sv, but two M12’s fit in the Pelican box I use. I have an M12 charger that plugs into both a household outlet and a cigarette outlet so I can charge it anywhere.

I have 2 Lure 11.5’s and have Lowrance Hook5’s on each. I’ll take some pictures and post them tomorrow when I get home from work. The battery is stored in a Pelican 1150 that’s Velcro’d to the hull inside the hatch. The battery box is removable by a Battery Tender quick connect. I also use Mileaukee M12XC batteries.

I fished my favorite, most challenging, private pond in Plymouth this morning with a coworker. We launched at 0500. Dana stayed in the small section and I moved to the big section after a half hour of nothing. I found three nice SMB and one white perch suspended in 35' of water in short order in the big pond. The smallies came on a 3.8" Fat Swing Impact on a 3/8 oz underspin and the WP came on a chartreuse/lime Rapala DT16 (!?!?!?!). Two smallies just broke 2 pounds and the third was 1.4. I had a few small fish slap at my Rapala pencil bait, but that was it. I made my way back to the small pond around 8:30 to check on Dana. He'd caught a tiny SMB, his first, and that's it. He said he had a lot of small bites but nothing good. He had daddy-duty and split around 9:00. I've got to finagle a way to get him to Hedges Pond in Plymouth for some all but guaranteed smallie action. Unfortunately, it's closed to non-Plymouth residents because of CV-19. I stayed in the small pond another 1/2 hour or so, picking up two, and losing two more SMB in a bowl in a SW cove after seeing a stack on my Lowrance, and spinning myself around 180. I noticed that only one of my SMB was hooked today. The rest seemed to just clamp down on the bait and not let go. One that got away in the small pond spat a T-rigged Senko. I thought I got a good hook set on it, but examining after reeling it in: nope, Mr. Bass just clamped down on it. A good Summer morning for sure. Water temps were 77.x, it was about as bluebird as you can get, and the air pressure was 29.9.

Little Pond was nearly empty. Plymouth closed off all its ponds and parks to non-Plymites because of CV-19. We have a friend that lives on Little Pond rd, so we can go as their guest.

I use it for the extra pockets as much as its main function. You can get by with a cheap one, but comfort is as important as being safe. Search through this forum. You'll find a lot of posts about drowning victims that weren't wearing their PFDs. It's really up to you.

My daughter wanted to go to Little Pond today, so the 'boss' and I packed up the kayaks, grille, and Summer accessories and spent the day. The girls don't fish, so I took short trips around the pond throughout the day. I did pretty good, getting five LMB and two really nice Sunfish to the kayak, with the biggest bass weighing 2.22 pounds. The Sunnies ate a 4" Swing Impact on a drop shot in short order, near a pile of rocks in the back cove. Three of five Larries, surprisingly, liked a Rapala topwater pencil along steep drop offs. One LMB hit a 3.8" Fat Swing Impact on a 3/8 oz underspin in about 10' of water and the last one of the day came on the 4" Swing impact, but on a 1/8 oz jig head. Water temps were 79.x, air pressure was 30.0, and wind was light from the south. All in all, a pretty good Father's day, but funny thing is, I'm already looking forward to my four 'three day trips' to Cape Cod this Fall in anticipation of some GREAT Smallmouth bass fishing.
