  1. I know what you mean. I've got a corner in one room with several old rods just sitting, maybe do the complete wall hanger deal Sign of your choice next to it?
  2. I mostly use a Havoc Grass Pig and usually remove 1" off head. Sometimes the Rage Menace rigged on its side
  3. Bulky jig w/big trailer Chatterbait - caught one couple days ago in cold, dirty water after the jig wouldn't work, fish was feeding in about 6' of water next to a deep dropoff on main lake
  4. These have the best standup I've used, really like them https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Megastrike_Shake2_EWG_Pro_Model_Shakey_Heads_4pk/descpage-MEGAEWG.html
  5. Interesting, I thought you had to go through manufacturer. Wonder if only some rods or you had a new TW employee?. Either way that's great
  6. Used these all Summer for both large/smallmouth nose hooking shad type baits and they worked well
  7. So that's the " XT " model you have, not the full cork Tatula tps://www.americanlegacyfishing.com/daiwa-tatula-xt-7-0-med-light-jerkbait-rod-txt701mlrb.html Thanks
  8. Which model# is the rod, your talking about the 2018 Tatulas right ?
  9. I like War Eagle and Stanley
  10. I could if forced but never would
  11. Spring-Fall I keep one on the deck. I prefer them over bladed jigs around any wood or when water clarity is better than 2'. Fished with a guy on his home lake and I had one on. He told me those don't work here. No more than 10min. later I caught 2 bass in a row off a wind blown point, he never said a word?
  12. Shimano still sells to all of our generations by reputation but with the new kids coming up if they aren't seeing boat/truck wraps, carpet decals and their name on jerseys and other apparel in their face plus the pros not holding them I don't see how it couldn't impact them in a negative way. Whoever came up with this new market strategy is going to regret it in the next generations of sales I bet. I love my Shimanos but their are several other players in this market?
  13. I prefer a black blank unsanded or matte finish with black wraps and cork handles. That said it doesn't keep me from fishing my brown Fenwick Elite tech, green GLX or even the purple IKE signature rod, sensitive but man it's ugly?
  14. Things come and go over the years by many names from all over the world, saltwater/freshwater and get adapted from fishing other species. These all weren't developed within 15yrs but have gained lots of attention Spy Bait Ned Rig Drop Shot Senko Whopper Plopper
  15. Dang ya'll !!? now I've got have some of those leeches to try on a drop shot
  16. This site and my browser Opera stopped playing nice so I changed to Microsoft edge and no more worries. I was getting verify your not a robot constantly with Opera and just gave up. Not the same I know just saying, I ok Edge to remember login and it makes it much easier FWIW
  17. Panther Martin makes some of the best in-line spinners on the market. I only use them for trout now but they will catch many fish species.
  18. Texas rig baby brush hog has put many fish in many boats for years. BTW I'd go get in his boat if I were you since he's calling?
  19. Clear - green pumpkin, watermelon, smelt, ayu Stained - Junebug, junebug red, electric blue Muddy - Black, junebug red
  20. Same here, already checked DVR twice?
  21. Same here, really liked that rod. Used to throw 3/8oz chatterbaits and spinnerbaits up close. Also 200/300 size Bandits. Mine finally snapped during a cast one day. It's rated for 5/8oz I believe on the older ones and that was really pushing it IMO
  22. Very true? if I had to pick just one baitcaster for largemouth a MH/Fast would be it.
  23. I've got Curado70's on a GLX803 MH/Xfast for 3/16-1/2 t rigs and jigs also another on a Tatula2018 7'1" H/fast for 3/4 and they perform well with #14 Sunline Sniper, really like that reel size in hand
