Why would you not want to use ebay? I've gotten several STX and Lews on Ebay at a significant discount with no problems...?

I use them with both weighted, and not... I'll rage rig with them when I'm out of the other weighted hooks. They work very well in my opinion.

Heat is what kills a battery faster than anything, Check the water regularly during the summer. If you have to add water, make sure your using distilled water. If you have the time, I would recommend using the 2 amp over using the 10 amp. I personally use a Minkota d210 onboard charger. My BPS xp charger burnt out and killed my trolling motor battery, so I had to get another. It was 116 bucks at wally world- 2 bank 5 amp charger with an auto trickle charge feature. Very nice to plug it in and forget it.

When the fish are on the move, think reaction... when they go suspending then think, gotta hit em in the head... Rain gets the crawfish movin, the frogs hoppin, and bait fish confused. fish accordingly...

If it were me, and depending on sunny vs. cloudy then I would choose sunfish colored for sunny and fire tiger for cloudy. You can try your luck with black, but if no reaction after the sun is half way up- switch colors. run a shore line with your black, if it works, continue... If not run that same shore line again with something lighter colored. Keep a rogue set up handy for a missed strike.

I only use a 5/0 EWG on my 12" power worms. Plenty of hooking space- the only problem I have is waiting that extra second for the fish to swallow up that big ole worm.

I only use sunscreen on my face and ears, I have long sleeve moisture wicking shirts, pants, comfortable shoes, and a hat. I just added this to the protection My grandfather had to spend a lot of time having cancer spots removed from his hands, face, and ears from working out in the sun for 40 years. Don't care how dorky I look anymore- besides... Sunburns hurt!

The tip usually controls the direction the fish will travel. High tips will usually cause the fish to jump, a bass will shake a lure loose in a heartbeat when it comes out the water because it causes slack in the line. Cant tell you how many times I've had a big un spit the lure at me when it jumps. It'll make a grown man wanna cry!

IMO... theres your problem... keep the tip down with steady retrieve.

I went to Bass Pro yesterday and was going to restock some of the tackle I've lost over the last few months. I went to get some weights and... OMG!!! Tungsten prices have gone through the roof!!! Four 1/2 oz bullet weights cost 25+ bucks!!! and thats for bps brand. Sensitivity is nice but not for that price... Anyone know where to get tungsten for cheaper than 7 bucks a weight???

All I use for my shakey head are Charlies Worms. These things float and work very well!!!
