I really like my helium 3

After taking off 832 and putting power pro back on I've found that I like 832 better. The finish comes off 832 almost immediately I think that's why initially I didn't really like it. I've heard good things about fx2 but it's the only braid I've ever had break on me. Had it break on a cast 3 times. After the first time I started checking for frays (which it does btw). Maybe I got a bad spool but I know I won't buy it again.

Id let someone local try my stuff out, but I wouldn't ship it anywhere.

I like my pflueger xt 30 size. Never used a stardic ci4 but I like the xt better than the saros

They're in different lines within the series. The 735 is a MH for a frog rod or whatever series it is, the 736 is above that at HThe 733 and 734 are designed for a different purpose. That's a pretty bad explanation but hopefully you get the gist of it. Looks like someone beat me to it

I wouldn't know, haven't used any of them. But I can tell you the core 51 is great

The 1001xt is the same size as a 51.

I still have a couple of quantum combos like that, they served me well

For me this year I've probably caught more on a drop shot than everything else I throw combined. My 3 biggest bass came off a chatterbait, frog, and swim jig in that order.

Anyone making lead free jigs. I would like to start making my own but I can't use lead up here in ma. From what I gather most people use tin or a tin/bismuth alloy. If anyone has any experience doing this I would like to hear what the process is like

This summer hasn't been that hot. Lately it's been 70s during the day and 50s at night, I actually called it quits last night because I got too cold. Last year I was catching bass through October. I'm also curious how people fish in the fall here, spent the last 5 years in SoCal fall and winter aren't really a thing there.
