  1. caught my first top water walleye a few days ago, was a surprise for sure
  2. Uni to Uni is super easy and strong
  3. mh/m for 3/8-5/8oz squarebills m/m for 1/4oz squarebills like 1.5
  4. Siebert's 1/2oz Cosmic Double Willow (bluegill) owner hook, powder coated head, quality silicone and swivel / blades
  5. king of the hill is the single greatest series there ever was! The complexity of the characters, the humour and awesome writing always made for a good show.. I tell you whut.
  6. 12lb sunline supernatural, only mono I'll ever use again.
  7. I love my savvy.. The 735 is pretty versatile, for most people it's their frog rod. If I were you I would go with that one and use it for several techniques until you can afford a champ or extreme, when that day comes keep the 735 for frogs and look into a 745. The 745 is the perfect stick for pitching jigs, casting football jigs, larger Texas rigs and Carolina rigs too. Wouldn't use it for frogs though, I have a 745 it's one of my favourite rods.
  8. I change trebles on every hardbait I own unless I know for a fact they come equipped with owner, Mustad or Gama. find them anywhere you can
  9. pretty sure it's just the x4 unit that came with your boat, I had the exact unit on my boat when it was purchased and it was crap. didn't read depth at even half throttle from what I remember, and my Transducer was / is in that same spot. I've upgraded to an elite 7 CHIRP and it reads depths at full throttle and sonar still reads around half speed +/-
  10. I've got one and it's full of spinnerbaits, none of the arms have bent. great way to store them
  11. Dale gribble**!!
  12. well worth the money, I've got several Sammys.. the finishes wear fairly quick and the stock hooks need replacing though imo. Check out the Jackall Bonnie also, same lure designer finishes last longer and they come equipped with owner trebles. Both are worth having
  13. I use a mod fast rod for walking baits and love it, tips quick enough to work the bait easily yet soft enough to keep the fish hooked up once on
  14. honestly siebert outdoors is the best source for jigs. I have jigs from him I have fished all year and the hooks are still sharp, the powder coat is chip free, and skirts still in place due to the wire tie
  15. the bb1 is a great crank reel, I've got mine on the squarebill rod. I keep two blue pins and one grey pin on, which gets great casting distance. if it's windy I'll apply more breaks. You don't need to set centrifugal breaks symmetrical I use it with 3/8-5/8oz sbs
  16. 1/2oz black blue dredge brush jig with matching SK chunk or rage craw
  17. Carolina rigs and cranks require different rod actions for cranking a Medium/MedHvy/Heavy rod with moderate action, power determined by lure weight for Carolina rigs a Heavy rod with a fast action to ensure good hooksets when fishing deep
  18. fall is the best time to bass fish imo, the fish are fat from feeding not pregnancy! I like to use jerkbaits, dropshot, jigs and a big ol squarebill when theyre shallow
  19. seaguar invizx learn to fill your spool part way with cheap mono, then connect your fluoro via the Uni to Uni knot. You can get several spools this way, drastically saving money
  20. that is one incredible piece, congrats
  21. River2Sea Rover, Sammys, Bonnies, Gunfish, Duo Pencil, spooks
  22. you might not find a lot of info because the chirp units were recently released. I own an elite 7 chirp and it's a good unit, the sonar and downscan are very clear when adjusted right, noticeable over the regular elite 7 hdi. one thing I should mention is the gps in the elite units are slow, and the general processor seems to be too. so while it is a great unit if I could do it all again I would get the hds 7, the gps and processor would be faster and It would also have sidescan. take a look at humminbirds offerings too
  23. pitch in a fluke, senko, tube, jig, dropshot
  24. Going to bump this thread instead of start one Looking to pick up a grey F2 suit for fall, anyone use these yet?
