When Did You Start?
i turned 24 in january, ive fished for bass and walleye since i was around 6-8 my dad has always been a fishing nut and has always wanted me to have a passion for it. I always enjoyed it but didnt think of it as something i could dive into, about 2 years ago i got tired of playing paintball and was looking for something new. While at my cottage with a girlfriend my dad took us on the water and i realized then that i loved fishing, since then i have been fishing a little too often. I would be out every day if possible, sometimes i find myself working for 12 hours then going out and fishing for 10-12 hours immediately afterwards. Then right back to work again, how do i sleep? My dad has become my best friend and im really happy we share the same interest

Did I Make A Mistake With St Croix Mojo Bass Rod?
exchange it for sure, you bought the "big crankster"

Line Reccomendations For Spinning Reel?
i wouldve gone ML instead of MH for those techniques personally and straight 6-8lb fluoro is great shakey head and drop shot you will probably be throwing pretty light weights, with that rod your casting distance will suffer and also you wont be able to feel as well either, just throwing it out there

Squarebillz
My thoughts exactly mprestonSEK, i just wish some lures were offered in both so it is an option. For example the SK KVD squarebills if they offered both silent and rattling that would be nice

Squarebillz
Is it just me or are alot of the popular squarebill cranks silent? Im wondering why this is, because just because fish are in shallow doesnt mean they wont slam a rattling crank right? I see that alot of these squarebills are not even offered in non-silent versions, as a guy just starting fishing squarebills it feels weird to throw silent hardbaits. Also since were on the topic what are your fave squarebills? Id like to gather a bunch in the 3/8-5/8oz range

Pfluguer President Size 40
the 40s are huge reels, i use a 30 size on my spinning rods and its perfect, same as shimano 2500. I grabbed a 35 by mistake once and felt it was way too big
