Dry Bags?
Sorry if repost. Search doesn't work so good for three letter words. I'm looking for experienced recommendations for decent dry bag for phone, wallet, etc. In a boat, I was content with pockets and ziploc baggie, if raining. But now that I've gotten my first kayak, I think it prudent to invest in a decent dry-bag -- probably one that will float. If you use one for your phone, does your phone work inside the bag? For pics, checking time, text, etc....I realize you probably aren't going to make a call with it in a bag or box.

What Fluorocarbon Do You Guys Like?
I quit using flouro when I discovered Yo-Zuri. But, then again, I never tried any 'high-end' flouro, either. Any reason or applications for which I should try flouro vice Yo-Zuri?

Tackle Box/bag
I've got a number of different boxes and bags depending on what I'm planning to do. I really like Field Supply. If you can handle one more junk email coming in, I suggest getting on their mailing list. Their sales are great. I've gotten some great stuff from them including a couple of fantastic bags for half the normal cost.

Bass Pro Shops 2015 Master Catalog Question
My favorite fishing catalog. Maybe the only one that after I paging through it, I'm not tempted to place an order. It's almost like I feel I can beat the monkey

Worm Dyes

Worm Dyes
? They might if the garlic scent has nothing to do with more better hits...I wouldn't discount the scent part of the equation.....I buy JJ's chartreuse, but I buy it more for the garlic; the chartreuse is bonus

Drop Shot Hooks?
Actually, I use Gammy Finesse Wide 2's, but I'm not picky and I haven't found any small circles to be noticeably better than any others.

Jig Mold Hooks!? What Am I Missing?
Thanks, Mike! This is the hook I was contemplating: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Bulk-Mustad-Ultra-Point-91768BLN-1-0-9-0-/321335659419 The fact that those above are Mustad is PURELY coincidental, GT. I'm still unsure why they're so much cheaper than hooks marketed for ready-to-use applications.

Jig Mold Hooks!? What Am I Missing?
I tend to use 'after-market' hitchhiker springs with most of my plastics on worm hooks. Shopping for hooks today I noticed that jig mold hooks appear to be about a fifth the cost of 'regular' hooks. The cynic in me says it is just about the markets and packaging and the idea that jig-makers buy in quantity and won't pay a buck a hook since they have to invest in the rest of the product materials. What else might I be missing? Aside from the eye being 90 degrees off from most worm hooks, why shouldn't I buy jig mold hooks for T-rigs, punching, c-rigs, etc....and just put hitchhiker coils on them? What would I be sacrificing?

Small Swimbaits
Keitech Swing Impact is the ONLY plastic that comes to my mind to answer that question

Door County, Wisconsin?
You resemble bass1980. Like JoeyBass, I offer no value to your inquiry....just wanted to add that I too spent a lot of time fishing in Door County, but many, many years ago and all on the inland waters. In the 60's and 70's, my family vacationed on Kangaroo Lake every summer for many years. Was a decent enough walleye and bass fishery back then. Nothing big, but numbers were reliable...at least for walleye, perch and bluegill. Clark Lake wasn't too bad, either. Don't think I ever fished Mud.

Question About Special Purpose Rod/reel Setups
You have probably seen this since it's stickied in the rod/reel forum, but in case you haven't, I think its a great read and tries to answer your questions: http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/130634-rod-selection-the-basics/

Dry Rot Of Skirt Collars.
Happened to me and I was a bit peeved. But, lemonade resulted. I first got a skirt kit and started reskirting jigs and spinnerbaits. It was challenging for my fumblefingers and results were rarely pretty. But, I've kept at it and I now buy skirts, heads, wire, etc and have as much fun tying up new combos as I do fishing them....well not quite, but close enough for January. Now I've got more jigs than I can lose in the next couple of years, but fortunately, I've got family members willing to take some off my hands.

Advice On Tactics Needed
I'm no help, but I do wish you luck! I'm guessing that mid-summer here, depending on the water, I'd expect to be prepared to drop shot, shakyhead, and mojo rig -- but then, I do like my plastics year round.

Favorite Jig ?
I love Siebert jigs when I get them. Problem is that once I've put them in the 'jig box', I have a hard time telling most of them apart. So when I catch a fish with one, I am very challenged trying to figure out who made it -- unless it's a skirt that I did....my wire ties skills are rudimentary and the sloppiness is evident to me...fortunately not to the fish

Tube-A-Holic
I've tried tubes a few times with very limited success. I've largely quit by telling myself that they must be a SMB bait and there's better choices for LMB. I realize that won't be true for many (most?) Part of my problem is that I get frustrated rigging them. I've read a bunch and tried a number of different heads and hooks, but I'm never satisfied with the presentation. So...I'll try them again this year, but I doubt my heart will be in it.

Richmond Fishing Expo
wait...I take that back...he did spend a few minutes talking about the strikeback

Richmond Fishing Expo
By his 4:30 slot, he must have been tired of talking spinnerbaits...lol...those 30 minutes were pretty much all Fat Shad, MegaStrike and Shake E2. Good stuff all.

Mustad
All but me! But only because I'm riding a wagon. Now, if you replace all the beer references with "cigar", then I'm going to have to agree with the rest.
