I pick up the drop shot. If the dropshot doesn't work, I pick up the beer. I repeat those steps until I am too drunk to care, or catching too many fish to drink.

I don't know what to use if you are handpainting. but for a finish a two part epoxy like Devcon 2ton 30minute is a great way to go.

Well guys, I am excited to see this thing happen! 4 of my good friends are fishing it and I would be beyond stoked if one of them won it. They all have one of my baits so there is a chance ( although infinitely remote ) that it could even be won on a bait that I built. I think it is very very cool. A real " all balls no mercy" kind of tournament. winner take all, one fish limit. and tons of TOP names on the west coast big bass scene are fishing it. take a look at this site and look through some of the profiles. Heavyweight Bass Classic Angler Profiles Half of them were invited and half of them had to show up in person at the Bass-a-thon in Anaheim. The bite at Casitas has been really tough. Maybe it will turn around by then!

The majority of my blood is Czech, Italian, and German. But I have some native American Indian in me, but not enough to get college or casino money ;D

I just like the way that the bluegill casts and fishes on the 20lb a lot more. but on a bed casting distance and feel don't matter. so with big fish and a heavy rod in real close quarters, i'm just more confident with heavy line.

I use 20lb Pline mono when I cast the bluegill, 25-30lb mono when I am sightfishing with it. There is no reason to fight a fish for longer than about 30 seconds when swimbait fishing.

I never use a treble.

The Wake Jr. is probably my favorite.

Most of the time I do not use any. But when I do, it is either Pro-Cure or megastrike.

Maybe that is why I get to fish so much . I do know some non married guys whose girlfriends keep their guys bean bag in their purse though....
