Thats nothin. I casted off probably 3 or 4 Huddlestons when they were $40 each. I have casted off two baits that are almost impossible to get. Thats not to mention the hundreds and hundreds of dollars worth of baits I have broke off. Its just part of the game. Get rid of the blow-zuri and put on some Maxima Ultragreen, Trilene Big Game, or P-Line CXX. Then get ready to still lose some baits.

Depends on the questions you are asking. Some lab work can offer things you can't get another way, having proper controls, which can put some light on biological limitations. Yeah, I see ponds with lots of bullfrog tadpoles and they seem mostly unconcerned about the bass,or at least pretty well exposed. This kind of thing makes me think that "frog" bites (with hollowbody "frog" baits) are not what we think. I know for a fact that bass eat a great many adult bullfrogs in my neck of the woods. I have seen it on many occasions.
