Daimien's Hurricane Projection
Thanks bud. My parents were EXTRAORDINARILY lucky during Matthew -- the only damage they had was a few hardwood floorboards in the kitchen after the freezer melted and leaked. A few hundred yards in any other direction was a very different result. Hope that luck continues for them.

Strike King Rage Tail Craw Alternatives
get a bottle of mend-it and keep the ones which are repairable. But like the others have said, don't give us a lure that is catching fish.

Zoom Super Fluke For False Albacore ?
I’d think you’d want some sort of keel-weighted hook to get some distance even in a breeze Might also be worth checking out zman jerkbaits especially if bluefish will be around.

Fishing in Islamorara
In the interests of simplicity since your trip is next week, give Key West Pro Guides a call or email. Essentially they're just a booking organization for a big group of Key West guides. You call them and give your date and your desired type of excursion and they'll set you up with the appropriate guide. You pay a little bit more, but it also saves you from doing a lot of legwork yourself.

Multiple use setup
A 7 MH/F tends to be among the most versatile in bass fishing. Spinnerbaits, buzzbaits, swimjigs, vibrating jigs, Texas rigs, jigs, carolina rigs, smaller swimbaits, frogs, lipless crankbaits...

Sufix Advance 100% Fluorocarbon
We've spent years listening to the pros tell us that fluoro has next to no stretch, and we know that's crap so I'm gonna chalk this up to marketing. With that said, I really like Sufix mono so for that reason alone I may try their fluoro

So far this season what has been everyone’s most productive lures?
I've spent this season fishing a new to me lake that is a bit different than the others I've fished. My success has come on football head jigs, swing head jigs, carolina rigs and texas rigged paddle-tail worms. It's odd -- normally I always get a few on topwaters but at this like, I'm going 90%+ of my damage fishing offshore structure once the sun is up.

Evaporated JJ's
I have the same issue and it drives me nuts! Being here in Atlanta, I'm contemplating going over to the CDC and seeing if I can get one of those airtight containers they keep the ebola in. Maybe that will hold the JJs!
