  1. Not a county fan, and not a Taylor Swift fan But does anyone else have a problem with her "wholesome image" when each of her songs is about another breakup? She either writes an entire album of break-up songs for each dude, or she's been through a lot of dudes.
  2. http://www.spudtech....bed7f82e7c9cf60 The rednecks I know love them some tater' cannon!
  3. I'll need to get a few for the next time I'm trolling for marlin
  4. Your opinion on the matter is dually noted.
  5. If only there were some warning signs that hiring Petrino probably wasn't a good idea. Oh wait...
  6. Wow -- sounds like you and your friends had about 75% of the lemons on the market 3 Gen 1 STXs, 2 Gen 2 Premiers, 2 Gen 2 STXs, a Winch and a Toro here all going strong with no issues.
  7. Was at my 7th day of work right out of college in Rahway, NJ. Some co-workers and I were able to see the towers burning from our parking deck.
  8. But I thought everyone in the SEC was ranked? What's the problem?
  9. Ah, the "subject change defense"! Come on Gene - even as a UGA fan, don't you see something funky here?
  10. It is a bit strange how UGA seems to avoid the heavy hitters from the SEC W every year...
  11. Trout, flouder and rat reds don't require much. Bigger reds and black drum could make things interesting for you. Generally, I fully spool a 2500 sized reel with 15lb Power Pro for trout and smaller reds. When I'm targetting slightly bigger inshore fish, I step up to a 4000 sized reel fully spooled with 20 lb braid
  12. Robbie's right? I did that a few years ago. INSANE!
  13. I'm still ticked that I went to Lawrence for GT to play you guys, and apparently GT forgot there was a game. I did thoroughly enjoy the payback last year in ATL thought This year should be a roller coaster ride for you guys with Charlie W at the helm... My row 1 goal line season tickets for Bobby Dodd stadium are in my hands too. It's almost time to start planning the tailgate menu.
  14. For starters -- names on the jerseys I think this is a good idea for PSU. Their old uniform was part of their brand, and that brand has been significantly tarnished. Time for some new blood.
  15. While a MH/F rod is ideal from the lure weight perspective, the cover you're fishing in could change that. Generally, I throw dippers and swimjigs in or near thick grass, in which case a H/F rod may get the call. Dobyns 704c w/ Zillion 6.3:1 reel fits the bill for me.
  16. Invisx on spinning rods, Berkley 100% Fluoro on baitcasters. Be sure to use KVD L&L conditioner liberally upon spooling, and before use and you'll be fine. Based on my experience, I have no reason to pay $40/spool for Tatsu.
  17. I probably should have taken this trip BEFORE buying a new house... Guess I'll need to start working in the honeydo list ASAP to get in her good graces enough to let me go to Mexico to fish
  18. To me, you need stick with thinner plastics since the Slider heads don't have that wide a gap.
  19. After a year or so of using straight fluoro for my finesse fishing, lately I've been alternating between my 2 spinning setups lately. One has straight Seaguar and one has 10lb Suffix with an 8lb fluoro leader. To the comments above -- the posts are absolutely on the money that light braid is easier to handle than straight fluoro (MUCH easier when compared to 8lb Berkley 100% fluoro, and just a bit easier than Seaguar). Personally, I still think that I feel bites better on straight fluoro, but I'm slowly reacclimating to braid too. Both solutions are VERY sensitive, I just prefer fluoro a bit more at this point.
  20. Seaguar Invisx in 8lb test. If you don't like that brand, then I'd simply recommend you pick your desired brand but do not go above 0.009mm on the line diameter. For instance, Berkley 100% fluoro in 8lb is 0.011mm whereas the Seaguar is 0.009mm. What does that translate to? A line that's easier to manage on spinning gear. I would also recommend KVD line and lure conditioner
  21. Anyone have an update on the 2012 roadtrip video/slideshow?
  22. Is your knot well tied? A larger knot smacking against and through 7-10 guides during a cast is sure to reduce your distance.
