  1. Check cabelas or gander mountain out online. alot of there rods are on sale right now. Decent quality. I have a 7ft medium heavy gandermountain gsx tournament series on sale for 50 bucks. I like it.
  2. 7ft berkley fusion with a garcia Mitchell spinning reel.
  3. I was gonna buy that reel for my gf. But I took a chance and handed her a baitcaster and she picked up using casters pretty good. Those zo3s have an oscillating spool That's what I liked about them.
  4. 1000!!!...no clue?? 20 gander mountain tournament gsx. They're on sale.
  5. Spinning rod. 7ft med. Squarebill rod 6'6"medheavy. Jig rod 7ft. Medheavy. Put money on beating the bank cover with the squarebill or jig. Maybe go off shore a bit with a carolina rig. I feel I can fish any style or any lake with these rods.
  6. Spinnerbaits!!!oh and spinnerbaits

That's the way I do it
  8. Are you using backing? that would save a lot of line.
  9. I know man it sucks. I'm the same age and feeling it too. When I try to sleep is when I feel it alot. I hear keeping mobile helps. When I lounge around and try to get up I feel pain in my knees elbows hands back. But loading sofas on trucks for a job don't help either. But my uncle swears by staying active and I try, but I also feel pain when I try to be active. Lose lose situation. Tylenol for me, been taking ibprophen too long I get sick off it. Hopefully when it warms up we don't feel it as much. I hear good thing about that tiger balm?... maybe give that a try.
  10. Depends where I go. If I'm fishing the resouvior I bring 4 rods jig spinnerbait crankbait and spinning rod in the car. Weed lakes I take jig rod and spinnerbait and spinning rod.
  11. I'd go bass pro brand route or take a chance because I've never held or used one before. Look up eposeidon baitcasters , see the reviews and judge yourself. I've heard there bx1000?? is a great reel for the money which is around 40 bucks I think. Hey its a cheap reel for ya
  12. That's a pretty cool box.
  13. I might keep a couple this year if I get any that are gut hooked or don't swim away. My girl don't like fish so it's just a meal for me. I heard fried up bass taste good. Maybe I'll give that a try. But anything fried I bet taste good!!
  14. I like mccoy extra clear. Very limp. Little memory. Strong line and Great knot strength
  15. just get baits to cover all of the water column topwater, then 2-5 range(squarebills spinnerbaits swimjigs), 6-10 range(medium crankbaits weightless worms) then bottom baits(Carolina rigs jigs texas rigged plastics)
  16. buzzbaits!! shakyhead jigs and straighttail worms shallow crankbaits double willow spinnerbaits
  17. 6.4:1 or higher.when ya feel a hit, ya wanna reel until the rod loads up then sweep hookset. That 6.4 or higher will help ya out with quickly reeling up slack.
  18. Green pumpkin. Green pumpkin blue flake. Watermelonseed. With Watermelon light shines through it better than green pumpkin. Its more natural. Watermelon or green pumpkin orange flake and purple flake work great in clear water too. Just my opinions
