Fishing When The Sky Is Overcast
Overcast WITH wind... alittle chop and ripple in the water. Targeting visible brush or logs with a squarebill and spinnerbait are some of my favorite ways to fish. A little breeze or wind is key for those lures. But with no wind maybe a football jig or carolina rig. Overcast days are good days for moving lures at a good pace. Especially with warmer water. Trying topwater in the morning or evening. A frog around weeds or brush, buzzbait.or stickbait should be succesful. Personally not really a fan of buzzbaits...haha

What Do You Do With Clear Water Like This. Im Clueless
6lb line and shakey head. Since you said it drops quick maybe a drop shot. Sunny days clear water = finesse techniques. Light 1/4oz footballhead and singletail grubs. Hope this helps a lil

Braided Line On Baitcaster?
Try powerpro superslick in 30 or 40#... its a smoother braid so it possibly fly a little farther

Clearcoating And Resins
Now Dont make fun... but I use rustoleum crystal clear coat enamel spray cans. Very very easy to use no maintenance just spray whole lure and let it hang and dry. I use 4 coats. Pretty cheap also. Like 3 bucks a can. Fishing all day with my lures on rocks the lure looks alittle nicked up but not too bad. I m gonna try epoxy down the road.

Why Are People So Inconsiderate
boaters sometimes...a lot of the time annoy me to. they fish where ever they want to even if your obviously fishing the area. trolling down the bank. hey if you see someone fishing an area first, lift your line out of the water and skip the 30 yards they are fishing then continue! how hard is that...its actually easier.

Bass Guys In The North Use Lighter Tackle. "yankee Sticks"?
Average size fish in PA is around 2-4lb so light to medium action gear you can use with confidence. Smaller lures and plastics are easier to cast. Lighter line allows for that. With clear waters in the north, Finesse presentations are a staple in bass fishing. Smaller baits, lighter line. 6lb line with a good drag system is plenty good to use as long as your not fishing around wood or weeds.

Midwest/northern Tactics!?
Try learning finesse tubes, dropshot and shakey heads. Double willow spinnerbaits work good. Squarebills

Do All Anglers Fish Differently?
I can tell you that lures are not for everybody. My dad seriously only uses one bait right now and its a zoom z nail. Haha. And he catches fish successfully with that one bait. He texas rigs it, carolina rigs it, and weightless wacky style. You use what you have confidence in. Me I only use plastics, jigs, crankbaits, and spinnerbaits. Maybe a frog. Alot more than my dad, but he outfishes me when finesse is the key. But reaction strikes are my deal. But to learn whatlure to use when... I would read the articles on this site alot of info. Or maybe youtube KVD or aaron martens to learn. I know I didnt answer all of your questions but I still hoped I helped a little.

River Monsters Is Back
he loosens the drag on spinning reels alot of times almost all the way... then tightens when setting the hook.

Finally Got One
The winter was long and cold and is finally over. Been fishing for a couple weeks now with no luck. Went out today with the weather being cold and windy the water was really stained. it was kinda miserable... until I caught my first bass of the season. Whoohoo! I caught a 16-18" largie on a white and chartreuse spinnerbait. It wss a good feelin.

Bank Fishing Forum
Dont know if you bought one yet but have you looked at the bps stalker bag?? The red backpack. Just got it a couple months ago. Used to use a shoulder strap bag. So its taking time to get use to the backback idea. Has alot of storage for me. I like it. Have to get better organizing skills. Haha
