Crankbait rod or topwater. Anything with trebles. Ugly sticks are usually pretty limber.

Fishing wood. Thats mine. With squarebills spinnerbaits and jigs.

But if you are on a boat, that opens up opportunities. Getting away from the weeds. Crankbaits will work. Football heads. If you got electronics, search for old roadbeds and concrete chunks.

I love nockamixon. I get a cabin there. The bass fishing is up and down. Good days and bad.very pressured lake. Fishing from shore like me is a hassle. So much hydrilla and lilies. That limits what you can throw. Jigs, texas rigs, carolina rigs and spinnersbaits. Maybe a frog or two. On that lake the bass change everyday. What you catch them on one day you wont the next.

Just wanting your guys opinions on how they look. And the easiest top coat you used

Tubes with tube jigs. Blue green pumpkin. Or just green pumpkin

This is the finished product. I have red mustad triple grips on it. Based on a 2.5 squarebill.

Not fishished yet. Still gotta clear coat and add terminal.used acrylic paint and foam brushes. Kinda just messin around with it.

totally just bought one. its on its way through the mail. ill let you guys know when I get it, how good or bad it is. it got 10 bb and magnetic break. 6.3:1 gear ratio

The expense is why im asking about trying paintbrushing crankbaits. I agree I dont want to spend even 80 bucks on an air brush and compressor. Just seems too complicated also

Never thought of usin spray paint?!?! Duhh!

Does anyone or has anyone painted crankbaits with a paint brush. I kno its better to use an air brush. Dont have or cant afford one. I have paint brushes. Just wondering and askin for some tips to painting with brushes. What quality work u can get from it. But pretty much lookin for any tips.thanks

Never caught a bass that could bend or even break a treble hook.no need to change them in my opinion as long as there sharp. But then again what do I kno. I live in PA.

Also this past season I tried to catch at least one bass with a different lure. One with a jig. One with a spinnerbait. One with a crankbait...etc. ....succeeded!
