  1. Use the weight needed to get thru canopy.. Whatever it takes.. Punch thru, shake it, reel in, repeat!
  2. They really have played a more or less Jr. Nba style of Ball..( Kentucky ) Willie, going to the nba now, he's going to get a serious wake up call! He's probably the most un predictable player! Well, he will make a big check, can't blame him there, or the other guys either. I've seen a lot of Kentucky teams that were waay, better and loose more games.. Wisconsin reminds me of my Bobby Knight coached Hoosiers, they play a solid half court offense, great low post, great outside shooting.. Dependable talent! It's going to be a great game tonight!!
  3. Lord have Mercy! A topic and postings that we all generally agree with! Go figure!!
  4. Good points, except wives & girlfriends often prefer to argue about "void topics" in my experience, lol !
  5. ^^LOL, maybe JF is working on the Iran nuke deal as well.. Maybe
  6. Around here ( yes we have BPS, cabelas, DSG) You can't find the heavier lead bullet's(1oz) and up.. Used to be able to find large brass.. Not now, it's tungsten or pour your own I guess.. To answer your direct question: you sure can use lead to punch.. I prefer tung. your using braid so, I don't believe break offs in soft vegetation is likely, but at any-rate lead will work!
  7. Yup, he said it.. Thing is Harrison's poor play, poor shot selection is part, if not most of the reason they didn't extend the 4 point lead they had @ 6 min to go... Kentucky has in my opinion been overrated all year. Anyway, congrats to the badgers! They are a solid team and I'm pulling for them to win!!!
  8. It's fine, I just wanted to show, it has & will occur. Not debating the percentage or other life dangers on the entirety of planet earth! I wade fished Dr. Inlet and was alone fishing in the Osceola forest many, many times... Saw plenty of gators, water moc's & large rattlesnakes, along with dangerous people! It's only a thing to consider...
  9. Dude! Stop worrying about your "shop buddy's" and now this "girlfriend".. If you want to fret, then put your parents at the top of the list. I'd be more concerned about focusing on my career than trying to explain my spending habits to anyone, with the exception of my parents. ( being you graduated college & your folks likely assisted you) Good luck!
  10. Sounds like your shop is seeking to become a non- profit organization, don't let them shoot you down. After all, it's your hard earned cash!!
  11. That ^^ would make for a very interesting Kentucky Derby...
  12. I use it as main line at times ( clear/blue ) I like it fine as well! Typical for me is #15. The line seems to be under most people's radar.. Not mine, sounds like not yours either..
  13. I flip jigs in brush, footballs get dragged over harder bottoms, pea gravel, sand, etc.. You can and often do still pick up junk though.. On softer areas.. Skip the jig..go with a Texas rigged soft plastic bait of some sort.. Even then, you may still pick up junk.
  14. Noo, it's a math game..
  15. Wisconsin is a great team ! Kentucky played poorly... The better team won! Go Wisconsin! Smear Duke!!!
  16. ^^^ Apparently, Mr or Mrs. Bruce Jenners surgery attempt may have failed him. Get you a Gia Pet.. They are really easy to get along with!! Although, the orangutan in Eastwoods movies seem pretty hip... Welcome back Raider..
  17. I find for "most" typical bass fishing styles, A Baitcast reel is suitable for faster "lure" casting & retrieving methods, fishing a 6 to 10 hour day..I find the clutch mechanism to be very dependable for heavy use on the 2 top shelf company's. I believe the line twist is considerably less when using nylon blends or FC. I also know you can use spinning for most, if not all bass fishing. I would urge you to try a very good baitcaster, then you will know.
  18. Stay Safe, & Best of luck to you as well, Incidentally, Happy Easter...
  19. Amen!!
  20. No, you are wrong. You do not see folks like me a lot. Your statement is helping the point. I'm 52, never been arrested, ever. Served over a decade, in the USN. Served with honor & was awarded. Folks like me, huh? Folks like you... Might consider folks like me as a very "safe" customer in a impromptu meeting. I could go on, but it's pointless, society exhibits both grand behavior as well as paltry behavior, no matter the occupation.
  21. For me, the limit on 1 senko is what kills the deal.
  22. I've owned 7 ford trucks & a few ford cars in my life... Nobody makes a better truck, it's not even close! 96 Eddie Bauer 4x4 302 5 speed manual! Fastest and toughest truck I ever owned!
  23. http://www.foxnews.com/scitech/2012/05/09/helmet-cam-catches-alligator-leaping-out-water-attacking-kayaker/ And this...notice the 21 century increase in attacks. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_fatal_alligator_attacks_in_the_United_States_by_decade
