I say curado I but I wouldn't hesitate on a Tat either.... The 50e platform is amazingly easy to palm... With curado I it's just a hair bigger palm side.... You should handle the reels if possible on the rod you have chosen to be sure! Finally .. I do not believe you will go wrong whatever you choose! Tats are somewhat cheaper and widely avail. At sweet pricing... The curado I ...is still hard to get... Have fun!

HeavyFisher like you I have found that simplicity is Bliss! When it becomes confusing or overly expensive get back to bare bone tactics and catch fish... Big ones! Or little... Lol... All fun and joy for me!

I think if you just fish here and there... Like you say ... Probably will be ok... But while you are using it you will want to enjoy you're gear.. Staying within a sound budget .. Get the best you can.. Have fun!

I have also thought like how much sensitivity is enough? I want to feel... But I want strength and tuffness.... I will gladly give up some extreme sense of feel... For strength and durability, whatever the cost of the rod.

A 5" senko in color...PRP W/EMR/241 W/PRP,BLU,EMR won't ever work! Neither will many other awesome colors ... Oh... It gets expensive ! Just sayin.....

Simply put.. A 7" ribbon tail worm 3/0 hook... 3/8 oz slip sinker... Use it and catch fish... It's just a bait that works everyday

Trig a 8" ribbon tail... Run a small crank along edges of pads... Soft plastic craw/beaver baits or trig worms in the pads.... Long slender top water rapalas... Lastly... Golden shiners! Have fun!!
